You won't be disappointed!
I cannot think of one single thing that I would change about this film. The acting is incomparable, the directing deft, and the writing poignantly brilliant.
This is one of the few movies I've ever seen where the whole audience broke into spontaneous, loud applause a third of the way in.
It's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.
I couldn't watch this all in one sitting it was that bad and hard to watch.Zombie movies have been done to death, so if you expect something original or an unexpected twist, you've come to watch the wrong movie.Like horror movies of the past, you can predict this story, what will happen, the lines that will be said, the people who will die, the dumb decisions the "hero" will make which will cause the people to die. This is a typical political correctness movie where they try to force a female character to be strong and a hero, even though her decisions are the reasons for everyone dying.Stay away from this garbage, it is seriously stressful to watch and a waste of 90 minutes, unless of course there is absolutely nothing else to watch on NetFlix.
So at this point we should assume any movie trying to capitalize on the night of the living dead franchise is cancer. This movie was painfully dull. Romero couldn't have saved it, not that he would. I fast forwarded through the last 30 minutes.
Romero's Day Of The Dead is arguably the best of his original trilogy. They tried to remake this masterpiece with the help of Mena Suvari, Ving Rhames and co, and it worked out terribly. You'd think another attempt would draw on the failures of that turkey. But Bloodline manages to enhance the failings even further to produce this absolute dud of a movie. The acting is incredibly wooden, and that's usually something I can get past but if it weren't for utterly poor story. I'd watch it if you are a pure zombie genre fan and need to tick it off your list but I'd sooner rewatch Miss Suvari shooting at zombies that can walk on ceilings!!
Why did they make this piece of crap in the name of day of the dead? I went in, without having read about it in forehand, but that didn't help one bit. The entire movie sucks from start to finish. And honestly, it made me mad, so so mad. All the moronic moves the characthers took, wow, seriously? Do not watch.
