A lot of fun.
A different way of telling a story
Pretty good movie overall. First half was nothing special but it got better as it went along.
Don't blink or you'll miss the opening death scene entirely, in this quickly tiring shlockfest about a double-headed CG-shark chomps down on some chowderheads stranded near a small island, which they repeatedly claim is an atoll ( a coral formation, usually circular or ring- shaped ), despite the fact that it is clearly a small island ( a slab of land completely surrounded by water ).The first 30 minutes were fairly amusing, with plenty of good looking girls wearing as little as possible, and a couple of unintentional laughs at the bottom of the barrel effects, but the film played all its cards in the first 30 minutes, and spends the next hour repeating itself, after its topless lesbian kissing session. Carmen Electra turns up just to tan in front of the camera and for her ( oh so slight ) name value, her character could have been edited out completely and the film would be no different. The characters display some of the most moronic behaviour, even for an Asylum picture, that they almost deserve to be swallowed whole, and the effects go from being laughably bad, to mind-numbingly stupid, as the shark's size changes dramatically from one scene to the next. Apparently toward the latter stages of the film, it grows so large that it threatens to sink the island/ atoll, and these blockheads must pool together all of their room temperature IQs and figure how to stay alive, and kill this shark.
A polar opposite of say, MOBY DICK! This shark flick would have to make one hell of a flying leap to reach B movie status. Professor Babish(Charlie O'Connell)and a ship full of his students on a boat called "Semester At Sea" are attacked by a two-headed shark and get stranded on an atoll. The group featuring "well bodied" females and useful as chum male students fear the atoll is sinking. That's because a tsunami is sweeping them back into neck-deep waters and the fear of being shark bait looms larger. The CGI two-headed killing machine will begin running up a body count. The acting is so bad, it is not even funny. And the dialogue is punctuated with scenes of bouncing boobs. (Not complaining.) The violence lacks in shock value. The best thing about this blood bath is watching Carmen Electra and Hulk Hogan's winsome daughter Brooke. It is hard to believe that O'Connell collected a paycheck for his miserable role. Other players include: Christina Bach, David Gallegos, Geoff Ward, Lauren Vera and Gerald Webb.
Although you have to out up with some terrible over acting and the guys in the film are obviously high steroid users, some with artificial chest implants which look ridiculous to say the least, if you like looking at pretty girls walking around in next to nothing, this is a film to watch - a few times!! There is a particularly lovely scene where 2 girls take a dip with one of the male characters and they both go topless, one is well endowed breast wise and the other has lovely young, firm and pert tits - well worth a few tissues. Plenty of other bikini clad girls to gawp over too. As for the film, forget about what it is about - I challenge you to discover any part of the film which was rehearsed before filming - it looks like it was simply made up on the fly - great.
Just might be the worst movie i've ever seen. I know its the worst shark movie ever made. I only watched it at first to see what the shark looked like, and kept watching because i was laughing so hard at the plot of this two headed shark that knows exactly where to be to get people at exactly the right time, and like it was a Seaworld attraction. As well as apparently causing an atoll to sink in order to eat some tasty College Coeds. Though it was a good thing that this shark roared every time it went anywhere. The Director and Producers shouldn't be allowed to do their job this stoned. On a good note, the music wasn't that bad, and Brooke Hogan wasn't awful. Though i did think Carmen Electra could have had more lines, as well as a nude scene would have been nice.
