Each character in this movie — down to the smallest one — is an individual rather than a type, prone to spontaneous changes of mood and sometimes amusing outbursts of pettiness or ill humor.

The acting and script for this movie, set in Sri Lanka, is typical of Indian movies....IE amateurish, stilted dialogue and amateur night editing and direction..they must have recruited the marvelous Ben Kingsley to give the film a "toe up".....give it a miss!Unless of course you have nothing better to do with your time but watch wholesale rubbish by fine actors tricked into working in a crap film, where the whole production is geared around making a mockery of cinema in general. How will the two Bens ever live this down? They may not...and I doubt they will ever work again with this director out of sheer embarrassment and outrage.Although Kingsley does give an inspiring performance amid this sea of mediocrity. What's that award they give for the years worst films?...raspberry?

OK this is a prime example of why we should look at the reviews for films, I didn't for this one just noticed Ben Kingsley was in it and it was under new releaes cover and story looked OK so thought it would be a good film HOW WRONG WAS I anyone who remembers prisoner cell block H well the acting in that was fantastic compared to this its Soooo bad im sure it is meant to be a joke or something. and the director Chandran Rutnam needs a good kicking for wasting peoples time what a muppet and i am not giving it 1 star im giving it minus a million COMPLETE TRASH AVOID AVOID AVOID. Honestly its so bad because the Storyline is actually a good idea bit of a Bruce Willis type film i expected not this tripe. Acting really does suck its like 1980 junk soooo BAD.

I could not believe how poor the acting was in this film, story line OK, but it was so bad, it even seemed to effect Ben Kingsley and Ben Cross who normally are very good actors.I was cringing at some of the poor acting performances, the news reporter and curly haired policeman especially. The scene on the runway, towards the end, was just so unbelievably amateurish, it was embarrassing. With decent actors this could have been a good film, because I kept watching it, so as to see how it would end, so that was a plus point. Whoever did the casting, got it right with Kingsley and Cross, but how did they arrive at the rest of the cast is beyond me.

This movie could have been good. I loved Ben Kingsley in it. He was the only person who acted. At first I thought the actors were actually trying to look stilted and awkward and were purposely trying to deliver their lines in that horrible manner. It felt like they were literally reading their lines from the script.... I soon learned, no, they were just all bad actors... apart from Ben K that is...Very disappointing. The story itself was great though. This could have been a much better movie.
