A film with more than the usual spoiler issues. Talking about it in any detail feels akin to handing you a gift-wrapped present and saying, "I hope you like it -- It's a thriller about a diabolical secret experiment."

It's a movie as timely as it is provocative and amazingly, for much of its running time, it is weirdly funny.

Exactly the movie you think it is, but not the movie you want it to be.

The acting in this movie is really good.

A word. What is the pervert? Sex freak, deranged degenerate, disturbed diabolical psychotic subversive embracer of things both erotic and erratic.If you have no interest in seeing Mary Carey and other large-chested ladies naked, this film is probably not for you. Personally, I do not find Carey attractive and am not really into voluptuous women. Nude women, sure, but just not of this body type.I liked the meat sculptures. I wish they played a bigger role, but it just was not meant to be.Is this film the successor to Russ Meyer? At least one reviewer thinks so, but I say that either gives this film too much credit or is just downright insulting to Meyer. I would say the sensibility is closer to the films of John Waters, but even that is giving this film an undeserved comparison.The movie is very cheesy, but has a few humorous moments. For some reason, Netflix lists this as a horror film. I would call that a bit of a stretch. I mean, yeah, there is blood and murder, but not until the second half. (I guess you cannot be a half-horror film, though.)

"We've got a killer cock to catch, we'll talk about love some other time."Absurd, goofy sex goremedy and a homage-of-sorts to Russ Meyer flicks stars New Orleans college student, James(Sean Andrews)returning home to the desert to see his widower hillbilly father, Hezekiah(Darrell Sandeen)who is shacking it up with a boob-heavy slut named Cheryl(..the notorious Republican porn star Mary Carey who ran for California governor). Hezekiah wishes to put his son to work and has James helping with chores around the house. Soon Cheryl and James are having at it, humping all over the place as pa sleeps. Meanwhile a creature of some sort is moving about the place at night..what could it be? Soon Hezekiah finds his son and Cheryl doing the nasty, quite irate and mortified, resulting in her mysterious disappearance. Later, Hezekiah picks up another slut, Alisha(Sally Jean)who ridicules James non-stop while keeping pa happy in the sack. When James discovers Cheryl whose head comes off while the creature attacks Alisha, he suspects Hezekiah as the culprit. Inlisting the aid of a supposed nurse, Patty(Juliette Clarke), who is not who she appears, maybe James can, once and for all, discover whose responsible for the murders.That creature, if you must know, is a stop-motion claymation penis(!)which detaches from James thanks to a voodoo ritual involving the idea of picking up chicks with ease resulting in a curse..this takes penis envy to an all new level. In fact, we soon the discover that the penis is "female" and attacks other girls because it's jealous of the affections it's master gives them! Lots of tits and some sex, with a ton of gross sound effects..purposely juvenile and embracing immoral freedom. Director Jonathan Yudis portrays an unpleasant auto-mechanic with overalls, a Nazi swastika tattoo, grease, bad teeth, speaking in rap lingo(!), and giving off an attraction to James, whose car he's working on. The females in the film, particularly Mary Carey who knows no shame, are quite uninhibited. Lots of blood coming towards the final half of the film when the attacks begin. The penis actually has eyes and sharp teeth! Must be the first time that there's a camera point-of-view from the eyes of a penis! There are various film breaks featuring a naked woman doing various things like riding a golf cart, for no apparent reason whatsoever. The filmmakers attempt to achieve the aesthetic visual styling of Meyer, such as the unusual camera angles, general raunchiness, and featuring voluptuous women with very large jugs. Shooting in the lonely desert, with bright blue skies, around a farmhouse. Hezekiah has a wooden shack where he keeps art representing women from chopped up meat and animal parts! Lots of homosexual jokes on display as well. I found some of this movie amusing, but often felt they tried so hard that the comedy often feels really forced. There's a naughty spirit from the very first reel to the last that's certain to appeal to the obvious crowd this film is aimed towards. Heavy use of split screen throughout as well.

Well, all I can say is, WOW! From the opening montage of gigantic bare breastesses in various forms of gyration, I had a feeling that this was going to be something different from anything released in the last couple of decades, and boy was I right. The plot is secondary, but I'll surmise as best as I can. We start off with James (Sean Andrews) traveling across the country to spend the summer with his dad, Hezekiah (Darrell Sandeen). On the way we discover that James has a glove compartment full of porno mags and gags. Seems ol' Jimbo has troubles bagging the babes. When James arrives at Hezekiah's modest little ranch, he is introduced to his dad's buxom bombshell, Cheryl (Mary Carey). Well, after a humorous dinner scene involving Cheryl and some corn on the cob, James begins pining for Cheryl, who pretty much is in various stages of disrobing throughout. James finally hits it off with Cheryl, and then they start having sex right under Hezekiah's nose, usually while the old bugger is sleeping. In the meantime, Hezekiah shows James his "studio", which is a small shack devoted to Hezekiah's art, which consists of women made from 'beef jerky', although the beef looks nothing like any steak I've seen. So now Hezekiah finally catches Cheryl and James doing the nasty, flips out, and then later that night can be heard slapping Cherly around in the bedroom. The next day, Cheryl is gone, Hezekiah is acting strange, and James begins to suspect something is going on with his dad.Well, enough plot, let's get to the goods, and man is there a wealth on display here. I'll try to do this Joe Bob Briggs style, as this HAS to be a movie he would just thoroughly enjoy. We have boobs; a dog using a rubber vagina as a chew toy; boobs; snake on a stick; boobs and butt; bee stings to the face; decapitation; boobs; girl dressed in coyote furs showing some goods; boobs; a child punted against a wall; farting in face; butts; lesbianism; a gay redneck gangsta (I couldn't even make that up); more boobs; shotgun wound to the chest; boobs; and last not but least, a claymation penis. Well, and more boobs.The women on display here are a classic throwback to the Meyers girls of the late 60's and early 70's, that is to say, gigantic breasts and none have them have missed lunch hour for a couple of years, that's for sure. Not to say they are fat, per se, just "healthy", or "full figured". Overall there are some laugh out loud moments in this one, although some of the jokes fall very flat (the only thing that's flat in this movie, I can tell ya). The acting is anywhere from good (Andrews and Sandeen) to abysmal (Carey, but she wasn't hired for her acting chops). If you are looking for a titillating little doozy to have a smoke and some drinks with, I highly recommend "Pervert!", as this has everything you could want in a movie, and then some. If you are a fan of Russ Meyer films you will love this. If not, stay as far away as possible. And if you've never seen a Russ Meyer flick, after watching this movie you may be piqued to see some. I give credit to Jonathon Yudis for truly giving us the type of movie that has been missing for decades, but has modernized it to reach to most of today's audience.Final score: 7/10.

"Pervert!" is a glorious tribute to the films of the grind-house past.**SPOILERS**Arriving to help out his father, Hezekiah, (Darrell Sandeen) with his desert ranch, college student James, (Sean Andrews) is instead constantly being hit on by his wife Cheryl, (Mary Carey) and haunted by vicious dreams. As the two are caught with their affair, she mysteriously disappears along with a succession of women visiting the ranch. When Patty, (Juliette Clarke) arrives to help him solve the disappearances, they find the truth behind the rash of slayings, and it makes them flee in terror.The News: This was such a fun film that it's hard to really convey how. The atmosphere present here is what's most noticeable at first. Absolutely nothing in here is taken seriously and just basically is played out for laughs. The film is full of scenes that are just too wacky to be taken seriously, and Carey is at the front of it. From hilarious scenes such as a her simulating oral sex at the dinner table with buttery corn on the cob, or the part of the outdoor bathing scene that has her soaping down as father and son try to eat breakfast and talk, the fact that Carey does so well is not a bad thing, and she makes the most of when she's on-screen. The fact that she does indeed strip down and show off at the drop of a hat is very well received and it turns on the sexploitation side of it very well. All of the other women in here are not in her shadow, and are just as willing to do the same, and the arousal that they get is a refreshing sight to see. All of them have a great scene that really amps up the nudity of the film, and picking just one as the best one is nearly impossible, due to the fact that it's going to be individual preference. Outside of the nudity and hot women, this can turn into a really ripping horror film when it wants to. There is one really impressive sequence where a woman is killed on-screen by who she assumes is her romantic interest, but instead is viciously slaughtered. It plays out pretty creepy and is the one really creepy scene in the whole film. There's attempts for it to be more suspense, but that's the one sequence that really gets the most out of it's suspense attempts. The gore is nice and plentiful, with various gags that come off marvelously. From an expertly-done shotgun wound to a vicious slit throat that goes deep enough to decapitate a victim that shoots off a geyser of blood from the stump and various other bloodletting, there's a really impressive list gore on display. The mystery is handled fairly well and makes for some great scenes as the clues begin to add up, and the final reveal is classic exploitation at it's best. With so many other elements on display that fully work and make it an enjoyable experience, there isn't much that is wrong with it, other than maybe a few of the jokes falling a little flat. That's not a bad thing, though, as there's far more here that works than doesn't but that is a problem that can hinder it in the eyes of some.The Final Verdict: With lots of laughs and just as much boobs, this is a fun film that features a lot to entertain just about everyone. It's a must for all fans of Russ Meyer and the more whacked out side of the exploitation side, but it's really recommended to all.Rated UR/NC-17: Nudity, several sex scenes, Graphic Language, Graphic Violence and intense sexual dialog
