Clever, believable, and super fun to watch. It totally has replay value.
The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one
The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.
The story, direction, characters, and writing/dialogue is akin to taking a tranquilizer shot to the neck, but everything else was so well done.
When this animated film began, I was bowled over by its art style, choice of color palate and drawings. It was a bit like a Klasky Csupo animation but still different and unique--and it sure caught my attention. The film consists of a strange surreal fantasy that is the result of an astronomer's dream. Much of it doesn't seem to make a lot of sense and I really don't think it's meant to--it's more like an odd stream of consciousness that you just sit back and enjoy without questioning. I say just sit back and watch and enjoy the music. Provided you are the type person who loves unusual animations and doesn't need a traditional style or narrative, you'll have a good time.
