The documentary PUMPING ERCAN accompanies the 40-year-old over the course of one year during his preparations and extends far beyond bodybuilding to tell a Turkish-German life's story. The portrait of this mellow giant is not only an enthralling comeback story but also turns out to be a love story at the end.

I love this movie so much
Good movie but grossly overrated
what a terribly boring film. I'm sorry but this is absolutely not deserving of best picture and will be forgotten quickly. Entertaining and engaging cinema? No. Nothing performances with flat faces and mistaking silence for subtlety.
There is definitely an excellent idea hidden in the background of the film. Unfortunately, it's difficult to find it.
