Sarah Tyler returns to her troubled family home in the isolated countryside, for a much put-off visit. As a storm rages outside, Sarah, her family and friends shore up for the night, cut off from the outside world. But something comes out of the driving rain and darkness. Something that holds a dark secret so devastating that, in one night, it could wipe out the entire family.

I like the storyline of this show,it attract me so much
Very very predictable, including the post credit scene !!!
Admirable film.
The story, direction, characters, and writing/dialogue is akin to taking a tranquilizer shot to the neck, but everything else was so well done.
A-Z Horror Movie of the Day..."Night Wolf" (R - 2010 - UK)Sub-Genre: Monster/WerewolfMy Score: 5.9Cast=6 Acting=6 Plot=5 Ending=7 Story=7 Scare=4 Jump=5 F/X=6 Monster=7 Transform=6As a storm rages outside, a group shores up for the night...cut off from the outside world. 'A deadly secret is coming home', reads the tagline to this run of the mill werewolf movie. The movie wasn't bad...basic story with no twists, decent gore, nice images...blah blah blah. The key to a great werewolf movie if in the transformation. The thing is, I don't remember a lot about it...that means it was pretty basic. So it's not a bad watch if you like anything that howls at the full moon.
Chose this through Amazon Prime rather than fork out more money to Sky, so for free it was not that bad. Story, girl arrives back from America to the family home, her Father meets her and tells her, "the half brothers are getting drunk in the barn" there is a lot of tension and due to a poor script and awful sound quality we never get this fully explained. Then we get into the meat, there is something out there, they return to the house and are picked off one by one by what they think is a huge rapid dog. OK spoiler, it appears the mother disappears to a deserted island every full moon, the father thinks she is having an affair, unfortunately one of the sons lets her tyres down to prevent her having an affair. As she turns into a werewolf she returns to slaughter her own family, daughter has inherited her mothers genes. I noticed one of the reviewers in 2010 compares it to Emmerdale which is pretty prophetic as Gemma Atkinson ends up there.
I thought this was a very interesting, engaging film. It is a bit predictable (and some of the special effects aren't the greatest), but I found it thoroughly entertaining and that is a lot of times difficult for me since I tend to over think and constantly critique the horror movies since they are my favorite genre of movies. The girl who plays Sarah is quite lovely and doesn't suck at all at acting, which is always nice since the heroine of most horror movies that aren't commercial seem to over act and annoy the crap out of me. Quite frankly the entire cast is quite nice considering the only guy I had ever heard of was the guy who played Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter series. Besides this, dude who plays Doug (Joshua Bowman) is quite handsome, so he made it very easy to watch the movie. Basically I enjoyed this movie, and recommend it for at least a try.
I have to say I rather enjoyed this movie. Everyone else who has reviewed this movie seems to have a downer on it or thinks that it is a noble failure but perhaps they have not sat through the beast must die. Which is another great movie about something evil in the night. I like horror movies a lot and have watched many over my life. Plot A débutante (played by an actress who was or is a débutante) comes home. She has been away and when she gets back she finds that not all is well in the family home. Daddy has been foolish with money and mummy seems to be having an affair. There is some banter where all the characters are introduced. They are all hackneyed characters but come one this is a horror movie. They are fodder to be sacrificed to the monster from hell. Then something comes into the grandiose house and starts killing them one by one. I thought that this was a great take on the genre. It tries to have a twist in the tale but for any serious aficionado you will have guessed it by about half way through. Its well made and the actors can act. The evil is correctly personified but is slightly underwhelming when you actually see it. What I thought was so original or in keeping with the most original movies dealing with the sense of pervading evil is that once you are in its grasp you lose all control of yourself.
