Evil Aliens
The sensationalist reporter Michelle Fox presents the TV show Weird World, with phony matters about UFOS and aliens. When she hears about Cat, a young woman that claims that have been abducted with her boyfriend and become pregnant by aliens, she convinces her chief to travel with a team to the remote Welsh island of Scalled to interview Cat. She invites the cameraman Ricky Anderson with his sound technician partner; the nerd expert in "ufology" and "ley lines" Gavin Gorman; the actress Candy Vixen and an obscure gay actor to prepare the matter. They get a van and wait for the low tide to reach the island, and when they find evidences that aliens are really landed in the location, the ambitious Michelle decides to film her way to fame and wealth.

Good concept, poorly executed.
It's hard to see any effort in the film. There's no comedy to speak of, no real drama and, worst of all.
Tells a fascinating and unsettling true story, and does so well, without pretending to have all the answers.
It's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.
Was at a party and my friend put this on in one of the rooms for people to watch, dropped in and had a blast watching it. Special efx are great and the characters are hilarious better than the cookie cutter crap Hollywood churns out again and again. If you are a fan of fun movies with horror or aliens this is worth checking out. Came into the movie sort of in the middle not sure what I was watching at first I wasn't sure to laugh at the movie or with the movie. Then I realized its a fun movie and the way it came together it seemed like a labor of love. If anyone who made the movie ever gets the chance just add music to make it 100% awesomesauce. There is commons music you can sue from techno to classical so check it out. Everyone should see this movie, since I saw it I been making it a holy mission to show it to all my friends since I stole the DVD from my friend, haha. From one to zen, Id give it an eleven!
A film crew for an exploitative paranormal TV show heads off to investigate claims of alien abduction and pregnancy, but soon come face to face with a far more hostile threat than they imagined and must fight to escape the alien beings in the area.A bit of a weird one, in that there's parts which are absolutely infuriating and others which are abnormally fun. The set-up with the brothers on the farm, their backwoods behavior and the general amount of time spent on them horsing around on the farm trying to get the footage started, are just plain irritating and make it a real chore to try to get through, despite an odd gag or pun that gets a chuckle. That it's what starts the film off is not any helpful, but once it gets to the creatures out and about, it's a bit more easier to take, letting loose with some nice gore gags and the splatter becoming really enjoyable as a result. The frenetic pace certainly doesn't hurt, and neither does the nice action scenes to help it along. It still thinks it's way too funny all the way through when it's really not, but it has enough hilarity to make it worthwhile.Rated R: Graphic Violence, Graphic Language, Full Nudity, Rape, sex scenes and violence against animals
*May contain minor containers* It is always great to see workable intentional trashy movie. Many,many...many people try it, but end with a nasty infected paper cut from the uninspired script. "Evil Aliens" is not one of those flops, it glides almost from beginning to end with little to none fillers. Unknown actors do their job diligently and with clever script, some gore, funny sex scenes and Welsh hillbilly's this was a refreshing experience. The movie reminds me of "Shaun of the Dead", so if you liked that one (well who doesn't) give this one a try. If you didn't watch "Shaun", don't expect this movie to be some great actioneer or something.
Evil Aliens owes a huge debt to Peter Jacksons early films Bad Taste and Braindead.I must confess to never enjoying those films particularly and i say the same about this.Jake West is a director who clearly lacks inspiration of his own and chooses to steal from those whom he looks up to.I lost count of the amount of times a major Hollywood film was quoted most notably James Camerons Aliens. The amount of blood and gore on show here isn't funny either, the latter end of the film becomes tired and dragged out.Maybe it would have worked better as a short film. The actors a poor, the direction is weak and the plot is non existent.I can see what the director was trying to do,the homage he was trying to pay,but others have done the same thing a lot better than presented here. 4/10
