Really Surprised!
Good start, but then it gets ruined
Good movie, but best of all time? Hardly . . .
It’s sentimental, ridiculously long and only occasionally funny
This is a horrible movie. I did keep watching to see if it got any better. It did not. The special effects are horrible, I saw better graphics on a video game. I wish I could get the time I wasted of my life back, from this movie. You will not like this movie at all. The acting is terrible, the special effects are non-existent. You will shake your head and keep saying, why am I wasting my time with this movie? It never really tells you what is causing everything to freeze? The Day after tomorrow is a lot better movie. You may have to watch it to understand this one. So, save your time and not waste it on this movie.
Yah, its pathetic, sad, but true. The big studios are so scared of Asylum and other companies like them that they will stoop to any low to badmouth the new competition. Asylum actually makes very entertaining movies and they do it sensibly. I have recently become a fan because after watching a few they got me hooked. They do produce some stinkers too, but compared to all of that superhero Krapola the bigs are shoveling out they still manage to shine.Im not a fan of disaster movies but this one is one of the best I have seen. The cast is competent and the special effects are actually very OUTSTANDING thank you very much. Most Asylum films are fun, escapist yes, but fun. The leading man (sorry, can't spell that name) was very good in a everyman hero type way. He did what he had to do and pretty much kept his family together and safe. When he could he helped others too. The script was fine and the story was easy to follow and relate to. (especially if you have ever been stuck in traffic during a winter storm!) Check this one out and check out other stuff by Asylum. Its enjoyable stuff and ain't that what we look for in a film?
I like natural disaster movies, it's the only reason i wanted to see this one. I have a big tolerance when it comes to this kind of movies but this is too much. i've seen other natural disaster movies more than 2-3 times each so i thought i'd give this one a chance.stopped it after 10 minutes (couldn't take it no more).this movie is joke, an offense to the movie industry and i could go on. the effects were terrible, the actors played their parts like this was a cheap comedy,no reaction when learning such an unimaginable disaster is coming to hit them. this is without a doubt the worse movie i've ever seen, and i've seen a lot. PLEASE Don't WATCH THIS!!
There are three NYU sites, only one near pictured Club Monaco; this is at 14 Washington Place, in the Village. The kids in NYC go into the subway at Steinway Street station. This station is in Queens, directly across from E 70th Street on the Upper East Side. So how did they get to Queens? They could have come out at this station (Steinway) if they entered the M line tunnel at Washington Place, but the trip on foot to Steinway from Washington Place would have taken hours, and would have them going east. Then guy tells girlfriend street leads to the Tunnel. The Tunnel is in Manhattan (double back, kids?)on the West Side near Canal Street, then on to the Hudson River entrance to the Tunnel. Another few hours to do that. Did anyone bother to look at a map of NYC???
