Paranormal Entity
Thomas Finley has been arrested for the murder of his nineteen-year old sister, Samantha and fifty-two year old, Edgar Lauren, a Professor and paranormal investigator. Police were called to the scene by Thomas himself in the early hours of the morning, finding him inside with his sister's body cradled in his arms. In his statement given in police custody, Thomas claimed that the victims were attacked by a demonic entity of unknown origin. Days later, he committed suicide. It is the opinion of those closely related to the family that a video found at the scene be shown to the public as a final testament to what actually happened inside the Finley home in those final days.

Plenty to Like, Plenty to Dislike
Absolutely brilliant
The film makes a home in your brain and the only cure is to see it again.
This is a pretty decent found footage and paranormal movie. Although I wish the directors or those who marketed this movie would have made the cover a bit more original. In terms of the movies freakishness, I would have to give it a 4 (I am usually a pretty terrified when it comes to any horror movies that are well made, and this one didn't scare me much). All together, fans of found footage, those who like paranormal activity, and those who are huge horror fans like myself would probably enjoy this one.
Watched this film to the end thinking it wouldn't have been up to much as I'd never heard of it but it was excellent and very believable. I wouldn't even give Paramonormal Activity 5 minutes of my time as it bored me but this is right up there and well worth the watch. Would definitely recommend this as it's a great movie. I have been trailing the net to find the title of this film as it's the sort that sticks in your head and you keep thinking about it. So good old IMDb was able to let me know what it was called so I can now get it and watch it again as once was definitely not enough. Don't waste your time following the unrealistic parts of paranormal activity as this film by far leaves it miles behind.
The first time I tried to watch this movie I turned it off within the first 5 min of it. I decided to watch it again and through the whole thing this time. This movie not only was uninteresting it was stupid. It was so horrible it was laughable! This is not only like PA it is just as funny. Though it being so horrible I don't think it doesn't even deserve a rating. Other than me typing this only one thought crosses through my mind when watching this is YAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't even think of enough lines to actually be able to post this review. If you wish to watch this movie my say on this is DON'T! I'd rather hit my head on the wall then watch this movie. Also if this gets posted I am surprised since I'm sure it's so negative that it won't.
SPOILERS: First, I have to take points off for the complete discontinuity in regards to the family members and how they supposedly all died off. Any even sub-rated film editor should recognize that people won't go for films that are wildly discontinuous. Then I do have to remove some for the discontinuity of the "entity." If it was worried enough to cover the camera in the first "attack," why would it not care for the "killing?" Plus, and this should be a notification, there will be NO jury in the land that would convict "Thomas" of the rape if his DNA is not found inside "Sam." That, alone, has convicted many and exonerated as many. The only way it could convict is if incest was going on.While I would buy that Thomas is being the "man of the house" and trying to protect his mom and sister, why was it so obvious they were uncomfortable around each other? Granted, the ideas presented might make them uncomfortable, but why would they seem to be such if they are supposed to be a family sticking together? And what teenage girl, in her right mind, wouldn't yell at her brother for barging in on her while she's not decent (even naked in one scene)? The special effects were corny. When the covers were removed, even though I didn't see anyone pulling the string, it was so obvious and not frightening at all. It seemed more like a way to portray "Sam" as a hot chick rather than a way to portray her as a target. Then having her naked a couple scenes later did nothing to dispel that idea.About the only really good effect, I'd say, was the ash footprints on the ceiling and walls. Otherwise, the whole movie was a waste of time, like a lot of the "found footage" phenomena going on out there.
