I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.

Very, very boring. The whole movie is just the stalker's point of view of a girl's life. All you are seeing in this movie is showering, talking, cooking, eating, and that's pretty much it. It basically a 1 hour and 10 minute vlog. I fell asleep through a lot of it. The only adrenaline rush I got was at the end where she's struggling with the stalker. The part that really pissed me off is that we have no idea what happened to Emma. She could've gotten killed, raped, kidnapped, etc. That and the ending was terrible. It's almost as if the director ran out of ideas for the movie and just quickly added that in. This felt like 3 hours of staring into a 23-year-old's everyday life.

Emma ( Ashley Benson) goes away to college in NYC and is spied upon from her own electronic equipment, a film done before and both were bad. The script initially sets up two suspects, an old boyfriend and a new boyfriend. Emma goes to classes, drinks coffee, dances in her living room, sleeps a lot, shaves her legs, and paints her toe nails. Not exciting or interesting to watch. Guide: F-word. No nudity. One quick scene of apparent self gratification.

I'll say it now; Films should be engaging within the first 15 minutes at the max, this movies didn't even *slightly* engage till about half an hour in, then it just died again. This could've definitely turned out to be a good film, and it seemed like it was too but its a disappointment. After seeing the trailer I expected a good horror and thriller movie to let people know to be wary of their technology, especially with a good actor like Ashley Benson. But this movie is just dry, completely dry.Their idea for the movie was actually a very unique idea which COULD have had the potential to be great movie even if it was low budget, and the point of view and use of multiple cameras as phones and laptop cameras were creative, and the actors could act, the acting was good, but there's nothing to watch, its just conversation here and there, the main character doing some typical chore or at University, nothing actually happens, as you get into the movie there is a moment *far into the film already* where you start to think its getting engaging and you're expecting a jumpscare, but want to guess what happens? Nothing. Vlogs have more action than this, It was difficult for me not to click off and watch something else, I was practically forcing myself to finish this, It was incredibly boring. The end just completely murders everything you were waiting for, why? Because there is no ending at all and honestly the fact that it was a low budget movie has no excuse, I couldn't have cared less if she died, or found out or survived or became a hitman whatever, but just the fact that there was no ending was horrible. In short words this film is; Boring, dull, awfully dry and had nothing to be watching for. I do not recommend this movie at all.

I'm a horror addict, any horror, including dumb bad horrors, I love (e.g bloody Mary). But I have a huge love for hand held movies, they make you feel involved, see the film through the actors/actresses eyes. This film, was one of the worst things I have seen. First of all though, I like the idea about RATS, major hackers. But when her phone was ALWAYS hanging out of her handbag, and perfectly aimed at her constantly, the fact she NEVER shuts her laptop down and that it's always in a place to get the full room, the perfect handling so we can see her perfectly, dancing drunk at a nightclub (which we have all done once, and it is blurry lights and shaking like you have parkonsons), it was way to far fetched.Yes, he hacks ALL her devices, but the fact every single device is always perfectly directed at her her is silly. The fact we never see who this hacker is, ever, leaves a bad empty ending which no conclusion, no hints, NOTHING about who he is, why he is doing it (yes some hackers hack stuff to stalk) but this man was an actual psychopath, to the point of killing her cat, who was he?Why was he doing it? was she his first? did he kill her? was he caught? Who the f*** knows, all we know is some dude hacked a woman, kidnapped her, end.The acting wasn't bad though, they really did their parts wonderfully, it was really believable, and it made you feel how scared she was for her life and how paranoid she was about everyone around her. I think the story of the ex BF Alex, was incredibly pointless, we didn't get much but it was a break up, and he an aggressive man, I think, considering he wasn't bad the second time on the phone, but the first he was using the F word like someone drop kicked his mother. Overall, the film COULD of been good, had they done the hacking footage much better, and not far fetched, and if there was any point to what had happened, and even an ending to explain it, we only get that he is nuts and wasn't afraid to show his face (whoever the f* he was) at the end to her mother, how the cops didn't show up in time neither for him to lift her, the dead cat, etc, but considering his face was in the mirror and on the laptop, i can only ASSUME he was caught, probably, who cares, the film was pure and utter s***e Don't watch it, even when it is within your Netflix.
