Wonderful character development!
Although it has its amusing moments, in eneral the plot does not convince.
This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.
It’s not bad or unwatchable but despite the amplitude of the spectacle, the end result is underwhelming.
The last scenes of 200 -sorry 6 - people evacuation a plane on an emergency slide whilst taking off at 150mph ... is so funny .... but the very last scene takes the crown ..... two people in a parachute... - my family were crying laughing . Honestly the worst film ever seen !! Lowest budget film ever .
Don't waste a second of your time with this garbage. Everything was terrible. It looked like a home made movie with a budget of £100. Diabolical acting, dialogue, plot, fight sequences, special effects, continuity. Totally ridiculous. I have no idea how this film came to be made or how the dozens of studios involved agreed to release it. Anyone who has rated this film higher than a "1" must have been paid to do so. Please don't believe any reviews that say it's OK. It really is a million miles from OK.
'ALTITUDE': Two and a Half Stars (Out of Five) The new 'DIE HARD' on a plane B-action movie. This one stars Denise Richards of all people, and she's not bad in it (I have to admit). It costars Greer Grammar, Dolph Lundgren, Kirk Barker, Chuck Liddell, Jordi Vilasuso and Jonathan Lipnicki. It was directed by Alex Merkin, and it was written by Tyler W. Konney, Jesse Mittelstadt and Richard Switzer. The story revolves around an FBI agent that's on a flight to Washington D.C., when it's hijacked by ruthless criminals. The film is pretty much everything you'd expect from the description.FBI agent Gretchen Blair (Richards) was good at her job, a little too good, so her sexist superior had her demoted. While on a flight to Washington D.C., to start a desk job for the rest of her career, she's seated next to a man (Barker) who offers to pay her a great deal of money to make sure he gets off the plane safely. He tells her the flight is about to be hijacked by professional thieves. Gretchen is of course reluctant to believe him, at first, and then she's horrified to learn he was telling the truth. The master thieves are played by Lundgren, Grammar and Liddell.I was really hesitant to believe Richards could play the action lead in a movie like this, especially after what a horrible Bond girl she made (back in the day). She's actually a much better actress now, and she's surprisingly good in her role. She's just about the only good thing in the movie though. Grammar is also pretty cool, and sexy, as a femme fatale villain in it though (but Lundgren is completely wasted in his role). The film reminds me of a lot of the 'DIE HARD' B-movie rip- offs from the 90s; if you enjoyed those (like I did) you might get a kick out of this film. I liked them when I was a kid though, I'm not such a big fan of them now.Watch an episode of our movie review show 'MOVIE TALK' at: https://youtu.be/8sMDCYeQGPU
This movie is complete and utter trash , given the choice to watch it again or get a potato peeler and peel my eye balls ..... I d be in the kitchen right now hunting out the peeler !It took me a while initially to get over the fact Denise Richards looked like one of the 2 guys from white chicks . The story , acting , directing , lighting and effects are all hugely flawed and holed ...... It's just terrible . I can only suspect there are paid reviewers trying to get some people to pay for and watch this movie to cover some of its costs . There's no way anyone who's actually watched this movie could really rate it above 4 at a big push . It's Just nonsense
