WΔZ
There is something horribly wrong with the bodies found in the dark city streets. Some are mutilated while others have the Price equation (wΔz = Cov (w,z) = βwzVz) carved into their flesh. Detective Eddie Argo and his new partner Helen Westcott unearth the meaning of the odd equation and realise each victim is being offered a gruesome choice: kill your loved ones, or be killed. Before long it becomes clear that the perpetrator has suffered a similar fate and is now coping by seeking a way to solve this philosophical dilemma.

Fantastic!
The film makes a home in your brain and the only cure is to see it again.
There are moments in this movie where the great movie it could've been peek out... They're fleeting, here, but they're worth savoring, and they happen often enough to make it worth your while.
The story, direction, characters, and writing/dialogue is akin to taking a tranquilizer shot to the neck, but everything else was so well done.
I'm not sure why this film was so highly acclaimed upon release. It's another grim and unsatisfactory serial killer outing, with Stellan Skarsgard on gruff form as a tired, beat-down old cop investigating the crimes of a murderer who carves a mysterious symbol upon the bodies of his victims. It amazes me that over a decade after the success of SE7EN, films are still content to copy the same look and feel. W DELTA Z is an uneven movie in which the usual police procedural stuff feels tired and forced. It doesn't help the film at all that the characterisation is nil and when finally unmasked, the serial killer role suffers from the worst miscasting ever. Plus, W DELTA Z copies heavily the kind of torture porn familiar in the SAW movies, so don't expect a lot of insight here, just pain. With Skarsgard on autopilot, it's left to the supporting cast members to try to do something with the movie. Tom Hardy has a brief but eye catching turn as a street thug, but Melissa George takes centre screen in one of those rookie cop type roles. I've always liked her as an actress, especially given that she seems fond of the horror genre given how many horror movies she'd made over the years. Paul Kaye and Selma Blair are lower down the list. In any case, you can't help but feel that the actors are wasting their time with this one.
wow what a filmi read a few reviews first so thought sounds like it could be worth the watchand boy was i impressed.from start to finish the film draws you in and the story line keeps you glued to the TV. the acting was great few old faces that seen in many a movie and the ending just blew me away. i wont go into it to much but just to say suspense filled, bit gore thrown in . and totally worth the 9/10 i gave it.don't miss this film whatever you do
I was hoping for so much more from this. Blair and George are two of my favourite actors, and Skarsgard is always watchable. Sadly the stupid script and lack of direction lets this down.Blair is a tiny, tiny lady and yet here we have her overpowering and manhandling numerous giant (to her) thugs and criminals apparently all on her own. I can't suspend belief to that extent. Also she seems to be some sort of electrical and mechanical whizz.Seeing as we are told very little about Blair's character, I can't say if she has some secret past as a weightlifting nerd. Nor is there adequate explanation about the history between her and the cop. As for George, well she just looks totally out of place, and again we know nothing about her.A few shocking, brutal scenes aside, there is very little substance to this and it fails miserably as a story or piece of entertainment.
If you don't know who is the dearest person in your life yet and there are probably many but you can't just put your finger on who is the best loved and just the dearest to your heart. This movie will make you know. This movie is intellectual and one of the very few good psycho-horrors. And so strange that I watched this movie The Killing Gene and The Killing Room the same day and loved them both so much but not equally because I preferred the Killing Room more. It's only necessary to say that this kind of movies (Psycho-horror/thriller) is by far the best genre. I like all types no doubt and I have seen billions of movies but this type is just on top of the list because it takes you to the dark worlds of the human mind and the issues of survival. The plot was good and so is everything else in the movie. By the way I easily guessed whom the lead character really loved but didn't guess the kind of love! Watch it and you'll know what I mean.
