Fresh and Exciting
True to its essence, the characters remain on the same line and manage to entertain the viewer, each highlighting their own distinctive qualities or touches.
It is an exhilarating, distressing, funny and profound film, with one of the more memorable film scores in years,
It is a whirlwind of delight --- attractive actors, stunning couture, spectacular sets and outrageous parties. It's a feast for the eyes. But what really makes this dramedy work is the acting.
Interesting idea and some good scenes. Come on. i think it wasn't bad at all. never watched sci fi movie like this one. I really enjoyed it.
The overall premise of the movie was good, which you didn't find out until the end.It had a reasonably good pace to the movie itself, and was tried to create suspense throughout by leaving us guessing what would happen next. It was poorly executed though, and by the end of the movie you realise that there was no point to half of the scenes in the movie, and a lot of random elements that don't seem to add up in the scheme of things. Also many plot holes. The storyline by the end of the film has potential, but I highly doubt anyone would choose to see a sequel even if they funded one.
Well after watching The Recall I wished I liked it better because that's the kind of stories I normally do like. Aliens or alien invasions, it's always fun to watch. But with The Recall I can't say I'm truly satisfied. It just doesn't have enough good things going on. The aliens are creepy and okay though. It's just the acting that is not optimal. The teenagers are not great actors and it's not with Wesley Snipes that you're going to make the movie better. Wesley Snipes is just an average actor and in this movie it shows. The special effects and CGI's were sometimes good but also sometimes mediocre. The story didn't interest me enough to fufill my needs. Too bad because it had potential to be a better movie. But to watch once it's okay I guess.
Awful film, do not lose your time. Bad actors, poor script, annoyingly illogical situations, and the very fragile story is an offense to the spectator's intelligence. It's a shame to see Wesley Snipes' name involved in producing such junk. Photography is not bad at all, and special effects are acceptable. Apparently this movie was kind of a training effort, nothing more than that.
