This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.
Story: It's very simple but honestly that is fine.
One of the worst ways to make a cult movie is to set out to make a cult movie.
A great movie, one of the best of this year. There was a bit of confusion at one point in the plot, but nothing serious.
To all the so called "Movie Critics" out there. Relax!!!! Have a little fun in life, and don't be so dam critical of everything. Movie was a funny follow up to the first.P.S. It stars John Ritter, so have a sense of humor.
This is by far the worst family-oriented movie ever made. All the actors act rude and crude, the jokes are not funny, and what about the exploding toilet, or the Carnival ride with the vomit fountain? These are the most dumb and obnoxious scenes I ever saw in a comedy movie for families.I also admit that after I saw the scene of the Carnival ride I threw up for real and I had also nightmares. And, the soundtrack is the most hideous soundtrack I ever heard in a movie, except for the Bryan Adams song ''Only the Strong Survives''.Advice: if you want to see a family movie, watch instead something like ''Shrek'' or ''Ice Age'' or even ''The Naked Gun'' movies. Trust me, they are much better than this giant revolting dump of s**t!
Nothing has changed, the mood is still the same, hooligan and irreverent, but camouflaged in a movie for children. The protagonists are also the same. The only thing that has changed is the director, this time sits in the chair Brian Levant (Beethoven, The Flintstones, Jingle All The Way).Junior and his father Ben have moved to a new city that has the highest number of divorces, and with it, the highest number of maids, and this time Ben is single, so it will not take long to rain him pretenders. One of them is a nurse who has a little daughter equal or more thug than Junior, so imagine the two together. To highlight again the role of Jack Warden as the grandfather. Otherwise, a conventional tape but with a certain charm, and in my opinion, something better than the first.Memorable the scene of the great vomit ride at the fair, and the fat actor who plays as Junior's bully, what a laugh!
I am in two minds with this movie; on the one hand, this is a movie that children like Junior could relate to. Even if you are the child who cannot fit or the child with a poor family situation. (spoilder for both movies) Not to get into the first movie, but it is hard to write about one and not the other, since they are both connected, but I like how in both movies the father seemed to stay on his side for the most part. However, this movie is not a great influence for children in some ways. For example, the father seems to encourage bad behavior instead of, for example telling junior to be nice to little girls. In the first one, I do not like how the father received the ransom note and was practically throwing a party, even if in the end he saved junior. I know his wife was mean, but that does not make it right for him to blow her off and leave her in a dangerous situation like that. And his fiancé was mean in the second one, but it did not make it right for the children to almost hurt her or to put themselves in danger. I could understand if it was doing some little funny things, like in Matilda, but this movie went a little too far. Also, I thought it was a little insulting to women to have all those women lining up for the husband at the door to meet the father like women are all just so desperate that they will go to any man they see. For all they knew he could have been a looser.
