The Bounty Hunter
A revered bounty hunter's latest gig is rather satisfying, as his bail-skipper is his ex-wife, who has no intention of getting nabbed without a fight.

That was an excellent one.

It's complicated... I really like the directing, acting and writing but, there are issues with the way it's shot that I just can't deny. As much as I love the storytelling and the fantastic performance but, there are also certain scenes that didn't need to exist.
The Bounty Hunter sounded like a great idea, but did not transfer well to film. The beginning was strong. Butler the ex-husband gets to arrest his ex-wife Aniston when his wife skips bail. There is a cat an mouse game as Butler toys with his ex! The beginning of the movie gained my attention. Regrettably the middle of The Bounty Hunter is a patch work of comic devices where some scenes are funny, and other scenes bomb. The ending has a mix of corrupt cops and comedy which mixes two disjointed sub-plots together. The Bounty Hunter's ending is more cruel than romantic. I found the ending tries to hard to be funny. The Bounty Hunter is a good idea for a movie, but lacks in execution. Five or six stars out of 10!
I loved this Jennifer Aniston movie! She is hilarious in it, and Gerard Butler is pretty good too. I just really enjoyed the whole movie, i was very intrigued by the whole premise, the whole ex-husband hunting down his ex-wife plot, and all the action and funny scenes that are produced from that. The dialouge is OK, not the greatest, but amusing. I love Jennifer Aniston's mom in this movie, i thought she stole a lot of very funny lines in there. This movie never bored you, that's what i love about this, something is always happening! This movie left me feeling very satisfied and entertained, and after all that IS a film's job! so i'm giving The bounty hunter a 9/10, great job on Aniston's part!
Gerard Butler and Jennifer Aniston stink to high Heaven in this seriously awful film.I got as far as them talking at Cupid's Cabin and by then I felt my life slipping away and had to turn it off or I would have started self-harming.The acting, direction, script, plot, in fact everything was s-h-i-t-e! Neither Aniston and Butler have on screen charisma and together it was a toxic mix.It was like watching a Film Making for Dummies 1-0-1. Predictable. Cliché.One of the worst films I have seen.
I had a high expectation on this movie but when I'm already watching it, i want to fast forward everything! It's full of running, shooting and dull moments between the two leading characters. Humor lines are not really funny. The plot is predictable: two couples got divorced then at the end fell in love again. I think Gerard Butler is not really for comedies. All throughout the film he has a strong facial expression not fit for a comedy film. Jennifer Aniston looks fine in the entire movie, she really portrayed well the character. I need to fast forward when Aniston and Butler are talking because the lines are predictable as i observed the development of the dialogue. I think Aniston saved the plot and Butler. I really like her as a comedian. So, I'm still giving it a 5.
