Good movie, but best of all time? Hardly . . .

Good concept, poorly executed.

A Major Disappointment

This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.

I'm still recovering from a movie that almost made me puke on my settee. Thank goodness I had something to ward of the trauma. WHAT THE FUDGE!!!??? I wonder how this piece of hogwash snuck it's way into the public domain. It's a real pity you know. From very awful cgi animations to rather daunting and blood draining scenes. I actually cried out to have a friend hit me with anything thrice the weight of a bag of cement. A man, wife and nerd of a kid trying to swerve a monstrous storm. SERIOUSLY??? Is that where it's gotten to now? For now I can only recline into my couch and thank the Lord God Almighty for a bright day and future ahead.hmm. the least said the better. I can't call this a movie 'cos I believe it's failed in all standards. Better luck to those who put their all into making this tawdry mess an actual mess. My heart goes out to the newbies... I'm sure you thought this movie was it..you could finally make it into the limelight..Jeeez!!! Are you kidding me??? This pile of crap shouldn't have seen the light of day

Wow If I could figure a way to give this a lower rating I would. My god. I watched it on a pay per view streaming a couple years ago. I can Not get it out of my head and like a very bad commercial Jingle but the whole movie is that way. I felt I had to watch it as I had paid for it. But I will never do this again. Some spoiler points. That teenage kid. As someone said they would have thrown him out of the car. Not to mention they left a dog to die. Not cool. No point in Not saving the dog. There was room in the car. The Chopper taking off to get out of the fire. Well. I just cannot say how badly done that was. Wrong engine sound. I actually saw the folks that made this movie. Did not meet them as they were too full of themselves. When Someone wanted to make an announcement these idiots would not shut up even thought they were made aware that someone wanted to make an announcement. I will not say what else they did that was extremely rude. But now I fully understand in the movie if you can call it a movie they leave the dog to die. And they would have left the dog and anyone else to die in real life I think based on the arrogance. I like to make fun of poorly done B movies. But I have no words for this one. I could not make fun of it. I feel sorry for it somehow but at the same time I want to destroy all the 0s and 1s in computer code that make up this abortion. I can not call this a B movie. If there were a rating of A to F I would give it an F. But there is only one movie as bad. Plan Nine from outer space. But at least that had some character. It was dreadfully painful but this movie is still causing pain years later. The poor actors. Well At least the head actor I think may be a good actor. But must have been as someone else pointed out held at gun point and made to act. And the shot of him in a strong wind holding onto the lip of a man hole that was not even a man hole was played for a long time. As if it was some miraculous shot that no one on earth could have ever done and that anyone seeing it would want a poster of it. So you kind of get a poster as they just keep showing it. I am pretty sure it is the longest shot even done. Or it was just so bad that It felt like it. Now if you want a B movie that is good in my opinion. Watch a movie called Razorback. You can NOT not like this movie. In Fact. It is the best Movie ever made....... about a man eating hog. So even if you are NOT into man eating hog movies you will still like it.

Talk about "Bloopers!"1 - it's pouring down rain and windy and they show a news lady in the middle of the storm and funny thing, no umbrella and yet she's perfectly dry even though it is pouring rain on top of her.2 - Lightning strikes and starts a forest fire. A woman and her son are about 50 yards from the fire and smoke. The husband pulls up in his truck about 5 minutes later and there is no fire, no smoke, the sun is shining and all is beautiful. Quite literally two minutes later the sky is dark, they are almost completely surround by fire, smoke and embers everywhere.3 - One second the sky is black and there's lightning, winds and horrible weather yet 2 seconds later, the sun is shining, the sky is clear, no clouds, no wind and 2 seconds later - death defying doom is upon them.4 - SEVERAL times it is black clouds, pouring rain and in the same breath, it is pouring rain and the sun is shining brightly.5 - Casper is running, the front of his tee shirt drenched with sweat and literally in the same scene, his tee-shirt is perfectly dry, he turns around and it's partially wet again from sweat, then 2 seconds later all dry.6 - why oh why whenever Casper and/or others were running, they had flashlights glaring even though where they were running had the lights on?

I hope you don't have the misfortune of ever seeing this awful film! if you have I hope the bleeding in your eyes stops soon. as for me I have irreparable brain damage and will now spend the rest of my life in a mental institution. There are made up words "Hypercane" spell check does not like that one. the annoying sound track is the worst pile of crap i have ever had to listen to. and whats with the slow motion every time there is a close up or when they run thru water is that necessary. apparently the stability of the "Core " depends on the weather. well its raining somewhere in the world guess the core is going critical. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this one
