Fantastic!
I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.
The thing I enjoyed most about the film is the fact that it doesn't shy away from being a super-sized-cliche;
This is one of my favorite movies, I don't know if it's for the characters or the cast (which is amazing) or the atmosphere or the soundtrack or the story line, maybe it's all of it. This movie is great, because of the depth of the characters and the plot itself, is realistic and manages to make you feel touched by it. I just love this movie so much.
I personally could find only one complaint with this amazing movie, and that would be that it is not very realistic, but who cares ! I mean after reading several reviews made by so many people that hated this all I can say is if you're looking for a movie to warm your heart or make you cry or if you just want some sappy romantic movie to take your mind off of your own broken love life or if you just wanna stare at two hot models for 2hours this movie isn't for you. I believe josh Boone merely wanted to drag you in deep into his movie and take you away from reality because everyone needs a break from life every once in a while and if you don't believe that your worse than the people the actors play as being unrealistic and selfish , yet everyone goes along with everything that happens I agree in full all of these are that way in this movie but I don't see why it makes it pointless to watch I think it's incredible how critical reviewers can't relate this to reality in any way I think that's what the movie was made for I also can't see why they consider it a disappointment when the movie get's you roused up over some romantic movie that you finally couldn't consider as a wannabe hallmark heartwarming same old same old making out under the Christmas tree with your spouse while the rest of your family sits waiting with a smile on their face . I mean does no one else ever want a little mystery or any emotions other than happiness in their happy ever after. Cause I did and I was pleased to find that in this amazing movie. So if anyone also feels a little tired of kiss and make up I would recommend this movie fully. The only I thing I think I have a right to ask of josh Boone on this one would be when's the sequel, suggesting that anyone could do a better job than he's already done, even himself
My worst movie of all time used to be Dear John, that place has now been taken by Stuck in Love. It is an incoherent and inconsistent drama filled with bad acting, unrealistic plot twists, and it can't seem to decide which tragic subplot to follow. It is painfully annoying - so annoying that you want to speak over the characters lines rather than hear the pseudo- intellectual cynical rants that they go on. It's not even a lighthearted, shallow romance - no one could gain any enjoyment from this movie. The characters are all annoying in uniquely different ways, and this is enhanced by some really terrible acting. Please don't watch it.
Somehow this little film caught my attention unassumingly. This lukewarm kind of film is usually likable. I didn't need to drag myself into emotional ambivalence to understand and actually enjoyed it. Sometimes we need light fares to balance our overly stimulated appetites. Marriage used to be sacred and unadulterated not very long ago. As a matter of fact, that kind of concept still pretty much exists in our parent's generation. We now have this carnal desire and emotional attachment separation anxiety to define it. I still incline to treat it as a legal status so we no longer confuse oranges with apples. There is really a blurred line between the physical and spiritual attraction. This movie manifested the disparity among a group of attractive people which is too convenient to persuade audience. The obfuscation might be a better approach.Overall, it had some witty dialogue and also a nicely playing out storyline. It suited my leisure at least.
