This is modern retake of Cinderella starring Selena Gomez and Drew Seeley. It is basically about this amazing, talented called Mary Santiago,she is also an orphan who has a pop star called Dominique as her horrible and cruel step-mother. She also two stepsisters called Bree and Brit who are not so talented as their mother thinks.Mary goes to a dance which her step-mother forbids her to go and when she goes there she dances with superstar (Joey Parker). She doesn't leave any identity of her as she wears a mask but she leaves her Zune. The two big question are: Will he find the girl of his dreams? Or be left without knowing her identity?

one of the worst movies. I simply couldn't watch it, everyone is acting so stupid and naive, I wonder if this suppose to be for audience under 5 years old? I personally love Salena Gomez! So far, she has done nothing like the "other" Disney Channel stars, and she still keeps her innocence, unlike a certain Disney Channel star that I will not name…but let's just say she thinks she's got the best of both worlds. Anyways, this movie was very good in its own way. It was one of those movies were you just felt good after you watched it. It was great for the entire family! Personally, I've actually seen this movie a dozen times it seems like, but I don't really mind, because I like watching movies multiple times…especially if they make you feel good after watching them, like this one does. Oh, and I love Jane Lynch! She honestly has a dry sense of humor, but she made me laugh so many times in this movie. Okay, I was expecting it to be Another Cinderella Story spin off like the first one, and usually when they redo it, it is bad! Not this one, I liked it. Okay, it did have the same story line as the first one, but we are talking about A Cinderella Story here. That is why it is called "Cinderella", and yes she will have a mean stepmother and two silly stepsisters so you can't really change on that. The dancing was great. It was fun, light entertainment and definitely better than I expected. It might not be a show stopper movie and it is made with young teenagers in mind but if you liked the first one as well as movies like the Princess Diaries, etc, give this one a go too.
