Undescribable Perfection
Don't listen to the negative reviews
There are better movies of two hours length. I loved the actress'performance.
It really made me laugh, but for some moments I was tearing up because I could relate so much.
I totally agree that this film is very unusual and not so surprising from Walter Hill, a big specialist in grabe B pictures, but a high rank B movies, not garbage films at all. This story is interesting on many points, but is far from being flawless. But topics that take risks are never flawless. I did not appreciate this much. The editing could have been a little simpler; that's my own opinion. But seeing Sigourney Weaver as the heavy of the feature is also a rather good surprise.
I was trolling for something entertaining and free on Amazon Prime and thought I'd give this movie a chance. It is terrible to the point of not being watchable. I turned it off for good after about 45 minutes, so I must admit, I have not watched it all the way through. The start however was plodding, pedantic, pretentious, and boring. There is nothing convincing about this movie. It is without a doubt one of the worst movies I've ever seen.Be assured, you *can* find something better to do with your time!
I watched this film because one of my family members who is naive to the way Amazon operates put it on because it was suggested by Prime. Productions like this is the very reason I personally refuse to order a Prime membership. It's so obvious it's an Illuminati social engineering film meant to program behavior and philosophies into the audience. Needless to say usually I don't watch stuff like this but I decided to watch this time to see what passes for mainstream entertainment these days. As I said, this was a sick film... Cursing, nudity & promiscuity, killing, back stabbing, and general evil behavior; it made me think of a bunch of demons scrambling to get to the top like a bucket of crabs. They only thing that was sorta good was that none of the characters where good but none completely evil either. Me
After waking up and discovering that he has undergone gender reassignment surgery, an assassin seeks to find the doctor responsible. The Assignment is one of those films where you push your self to the limit and you try to like you really do but the end result is just meh. Seriously how in the hell did Michelle Rodriguez and especially Sigourney Weaver agreed to this film? The film was also directed by Walter Hill who was the Producer to the original Alien film starring Weaver and even his last movie 'Bullet to the Head' was more enjoyable than this. The acting is truly dreadful especially from Rodriguez and even Weaver, the plot with the whole sex change makes no damn sense where they could easily kill Frank instead of making into a woman. Also way too much nudity i did not wanted to see Michelle Rodriguez fake d*ck or her just naked as a woman after it her sex scenes or her kissing scenes with Caitlin Gerard were also pretty awkward. I don't know if this is one of the worst films of the year but it's sure on the list although it counts more like a 2016 film rather than a 2017 one. Overall The Assignment or Revenger as it's also known is a film where good actors careers go to die and good directors get sucked in a colossal disaster. (0/10)
