Kicking off the bloated, two-hour finale of "So You Think You Can Dance?" host Cat Deeley noted that the season had consumed 35 hours of television. Gotta love summer TV. Six judges sat on the panel for the finale: Mia Michaels, Adam Shankman, Debbie Allen, Lil C and regulars Mary Murphy and Nigel Lythgoe. The night began with a quick video journey back through the season.

Episode 15 : Results Show: Two Dancers Eliminated

Host Cat Deeley is decked out ominously in black as she welcomes us to the show and tells us the judges will have to eliminate one more guy and one more girl. We open with a modest Napoleon and Tabitha Dumo routine featuring all 12 dancers wearing jackets which turn out to be glow-in-the-dark. Cat explains that three couples with have to dance for their show lives and were introduced to Mia Michaels, Mary Murphy and Nigel Lythegoe.

Episode 12 : The Top 14 Perform

Host Cat Deeley promised at the outset that the final 14 dancers will face some changes and the competition would get more difficult for the final seven couples. She soon explained that each of the couples would have to dance twice for the first time this season. Hip hop choreographers Napoleon and Tabitha Dumo served as guest judges, joining regulars Mary Murphy and Nigel Lythgoe.

Episode 9 : Results Show: Two Dancers Eliminated

After a slamming hip hop routine to open the show -- it ended with Gev holding a headstand for what seemed like five minutes, and host Cat Deeley couldn't even throw him off by tickling his ribs -- it was time to eliminate two more dancers on "So You Think You Can Dance?" As usual, the bottom three couples would be asked to perform individual routines in their own styles, with the judges making the final decision on which guy and which girl would go home. Guest judge Mia Michaels again joined regulars Mary Murphy and Nigel Lythgoe.

Episode 8 : The Top 18 Perform

It was down to the final 18 Tuesday on "So You Think You Can Dance?" as Mia Michaels joined judges Mary Murphy and Nigel Lythgoe. She promised that this season is going to be "benoodles," which she explained meant "insane." She said there are a few dancers in the final that she won't be sad to see leave, but the majority are fantastic.

Episode 3 : Charleston and Washington D.C.

Season 16
The sixteenth season panel of judges again features series creator Nigel Lythgoe, as well as the return of ballroom dance champion and expert Mary Murphy. New to the panel are choreographer Laurieann Gibson and B-boy dancer/choreographer Dominic "D-Trix" Sandoval, who serve as the third and fourth judges during auditions and live shows. Cat Deeley continues in her role as host for a fifteenth consecutive season.
Season 15
Season fifteen's judge panel once again features series creator Nigel Lythgoe, as well as the return of ballroom expert Mary Murphy, and Vanessa Hudgens, while Stephen "tWitch" Boss is the new fourth judge during the auditions and the live shows. Cat Deeley continues in her role as host for a fourteenth consecutive season.
Season 14
Season fourteen's judge panel once again features series creator Nigel Lythgoe, as well as the return of ballroom expert Mary Murphy, along with new permanent member Vanessa Hudgens joining the panel of judges, while Cat Deeley continues in her role as host for a thirteenth consecutive season.
Season 11
Season eleven again features Lythgoe, and ballroom expert Mary Murphy as the two permanent members of the judge's panel while Cat Deeley continues in her role as host for a tenth consecutive season.
Season 8
Season eight features the return of Mary Murphy and Nigel Lythgoe as permanent judges and Cat Deeley as host. Also returning is the selection of a Top 20 for the finals, in contrast to season 7's Top 11.
Season 5
Season five sees Nigel Lythgoe and Mary Murphy returning as permanent judges and Cat Deeley returning to host. This is the first season to move the show a new stage and last season to be in CBS Studios.
Season 2
Season two features new host Cat Deeley. The winner of season 2 receives a grand prize of $100,000, a new hybrid SUV, and a one-year contract with Celine Dion's Las Vegas show, A New Day.
