Wonderful Movie
Very very predictable, including the post credit scene !!!
There are moments in this movie where the great movie it could've been peek out... They're fleeting, here, but they're worth savoring, and they happen often enough to make it worth your while.
The movie really just wants to entertain people.
I must say , when I watched this movie I enjoyed a little ( just a little) , but I am not fully satisfied , although it has a promising good story from the beginning ,but unfortunately they didn't make it great and I don't know who to blame ,in my opinion this movie need more scary jump scenes more scary music etc , so in the end this kind of movies I always used to call it ( a movie to forget). 5/10
I can't believe that this has such a low score. It's a low budget chiller that really delivers. A teenager casts a curse/spell on her mom. Then immediately regrets it.Simple plot line pulled off brilliantly. Excellent performances and tension that mounts until a satisfying ending. It may not be the fastest paced film ever but enough happens to keep you interested. It has a few great set pieces and the end gave me a genuine chill.I would have given this a solid 7 but gave it 10 to offset those who pulled down the score because they have no attention span.
The movie I guess could have been better, yet it did win me back a bit towards the end. While the inciting incident feels more than forced (we know teenagers can do stupid things, then again this is way beyond that), it kind of redeems itself on that and on other fronts. There are other moments that will question the characters involved and more importantly their ability to make choices (if you're mean you could also wonder how they survive always choosing the worst possible action to take).Horror is quite good though and through all its faults it does have good cinematography and it does create a really good mood overall. You can have fun with this despite all and while it never fully achieves everything you may wish it did - overall it's more than decent
Bad acting makes the protagonist's character irritating more than anything else. While watching you can easily preempt the plot and keep wondering why the charecter in the movie cant!!
