It's funny watching the elements come together in this complicated scam. On one hand, the set-up isn't quite as complex as it seems, but there's an easy sense of fun in every exchange.

John Cena and The Rock clash one more time in the main event for the WWE Championship. The Rock v.s John Cena rematch was fantastic and both men respected the one the other very good but what truly surprised me was the match between Brock Lesnar and Triple H it was amazing and i loved every single minute of it as for the match of CM Punk and Undertaker it was alright but still 25, 26, 27 and 28 had the best matches with him going against 2 of the best wrestlers in the business but Punk was alright but very over the top with him trying to control him and take his powers and other goofy stuff like that although not the best Wrestlemania it was still better than the mistake that was going coming next year.

This was a good show, but like WM 27, it had only one match that really stood out. At least this show has a better main event and generally a better flow than WM 27.6-Man Tag Team Match: The Shield vs. Randy Orton, Sheamus, and The Big Show - This was an okay opener. The wrestling was basic throughout, but it got really hot toward the end. It could have used a few more minutes. The Shield get the win after Big Show betrays his team. RATING: **3/4Ryback vs. Mark Henry - It was pretty much what I expected. Given that Ryback was still green and Mark Henry was never that good of a worker, there was no way it could have been anything great. Mark Henry wins. RATING: **WWE Tag Team Championship Match: Team Hell No (c) vs. Dolph Ziggler and Big E Langston - This was pretty good for a filler match. The play-off of Bryan's match at WrestleMania the previous year was very well done and the teams worked well together. Team Hell No retain the titles with Bryan's Flying Headbutt. RATING: ***Chris Jericho vs. Fandango - A nice little match. Nothing too special, but it was a nice back-and-forth contest while it lasted. Chris Jericho carried Fandagno pretty well. Fandango wins with a roll-up and gets a major upset. RATING: **3/4World Heavyweight Championship Match: Alberto Del Rio (c) vs. Jack Swagger - I really liked this match. It had some good technical work and the exchanges of submission maneuvers was very well done. However, the lack of crowd involvement and a length of only 9 minutes keep this from being anything great. Alberto Del Rio retains the Championship by submission with the Cross Arm Breaker. RATING: ***1/4The Undertaker vs. CM Punk - This was another outstanding Undertaker WrestleMania match. The match had no shortage of near-falls and the atmosphere really added to the whole thing. There were many memorable moments, particularly The Undertaker no-selling the GTS. The Undertaker wins with a Tombstone Piledriver, extending his streak to 21-0. RATING: ****1/2No-Holds Barred Match: Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar (Triple H's Career is on the line) - I've seen better from both guys, but this was still a very good match. It made Brock Lesnar look like a real beast, and the match got very exciting in the last 5 minutes. This is definitely better than their underwhelming Summerslam Match. Triple H wins with a Pedigree to the steel steps. RATING: ***1/2WWE Championship Match: The Rock (c) vs. John Cena - This was a good main event, but it wasn't nearly as good as their previous match. It lacked the atmosphere of before and the excessive finisher kick-outs really hurt the match. However, it did have good storytelling elements, such as that play-off to their previous encounter. John Cena wins the Championship with a 3rd Attitude Adjustment. RATING: ***1/2 Not one of the best WrestleManias by any means, but still a solid show overall. There's enough good on here to make it worth your time.RATING: B

Growing up a wrestling fan my whole life, Wrestlemania is a tradition at my house. Well this year when Wrestlemania, everyone in my house was left disappointed. There were a lot of key moments left off the show, one being "America the Beautiful", Pyro display, Backstage Interview/Promos, and even a match was scrapped due to time constraints. It felt very rushed at times which kinda ruined the viewing experience. It's definitely not the worst Wrestlemania, but definitely not close to being one of the best. Results Below:WWE Intercontinental Championship The Miz Def Wade Barret (C) Very dull match, The Miz winning the title set the tone for the show and was only set up to try and sell more people to order the pay per view. 3/10The Shield Def. Big Show, Sheamus, and Randy Orton Not bad of a match but was very surprised to see as the opener. The crowd was hot for the whole thing which made it even better. It was a little short but still not that bad. All three members of the shield made there Wrestlemania debut and came out with a win. 6/10Mark Henry Def. Ryback This match was BAD, i had low expectations for this match and was just waiting for Ryback to Shellshock Mark Henry. Well the finish came when Mark Henry fell on Ryback and pinned him. Yeah you read that correctly... After the match Ryback eventually got up and still Shellshocked Henry. So if you were gonna have him do that anyway, than why not just book that as the finish of the match?! Neither man got anything from this. 2/10WWE Tag Team Championship: Kane and Daniel Bryan (C) Def. Dolph Ziggler and Big E. Langston First thing's first, someone need's to tell Langston to wear longer attire! Anyway this was a very fun match, I wish it went a little longer than what it did but it was still really entertaining, Daniel Bryan and Dolph Ziggler are the future of this business and this show's you why. 6/10 if it went longer, 7/10Fandango Def. Chris Jericho Chris Jericho is definitely the right guy that was chosen to go against Fandango in his debut. Y2J is a veteran and was able to help Fandango go through a pretty good match in his debut. There were a few botches at the end but anything can happen live. Plus both men had a cool entrance. 6/10World Heavyweight Championship: Alberto Del Rio Def. Jack Swagger No one cared about this match, the only thing that people cared about was to see if Ziggler was going to cash in his MITB contract, which he didn't do. Other than that this match was mediocre at best. 4/10Undertaker Def. CM Punk W/ Paul Heyman WOW! I was skeptical of how this match was gonna go due to Undertaker's health, damn did he prove me and everybody wrong! These two had an amazing match with an incredible story told in the ring. There was a spot where Taker was laying on the table and Punk went for the "Macho Man" elbow and the table didn't break, looked very painful. Paul Heyman was also a star with just his facial expressions at ringside. Near fall after near fall and the finish came when Punk went to give Undertaker the Tombstone but Taker counter and nailed the Tombstone Piledriver for the win and extend his streak to 21-0. 8.5/10Triple H Def. Brock Lesnar Very bad spot for these guys to be in as the crowd was tired from Undertaker and Punk but these two tried to give a good match. It was definitely a lot better than the snooze fest the had at Sunmerslam. Not a bad street fight but not Wrestlemania caliber. 6/10WWE Championship: John Cena Def. The Rock (C) This match was not that good at all. I thought the match they had the year prior was ten times better. The crowd in attendance let them know how they felt, as both men were boo'ed. There were a few points in the match that related to their first encounter that were pretty good, but the last 5 minutes of the match was just each guy going for their finisher so when the finish came it was very anti-climatic. The show ended with The Rock "Passing The Torch" to John Cena as the New York Crowd Boo'ed their ass off. 5/10For me there was only 3 matches that lived up to the hype and i was left very disappointed when the show was over, not worth $60 but I know i'll order Wrestlemania each year anyway. If you plan on buying the DVD/Blu Ray, I would only get it to watch Undertaker vs. CM Punk and the full Hall of Fame ceremony.
