The story-telling is good with flashbacks. The film is both funny and heartbreaking. You smile in a scene and get a soulcrushing revelation in the next.
I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.
This story concerns a bus load of attractive young entertainers who suffer a vehicular breakdown in the middle of nowhere. Well, it's not exactly nowhere - there is a very old castle nearby. How convenient! And no worries about any superstitions we have heard about this area...The entertainers are welcomed into the castle. Their hosts generously provide dinner and then everyone proceeds to the bedrooms. But does anyone know what danger lies in wait for them??Although the movie is quite campy there is no nudity. There is also no gore. If you are looking for a scary movie, this is not it. However, if you appreciate silly humor, this is perfect; it is in fact very silly. And entertaining.
