On peut être un couple de bons Français, toujours amoureux, parents modèles, travailleurs et économes jusqu'à la manie et écouler au noir dans le sous-sol de sa villa de Béziers hyper sécurisée, des godasses de son ancien magasin et des produits "satisfaits ou remboursés" qu'on détourne dans tous les supermarchés de la région. A chacun sa morale !

Captivating movie !
Strong acting helps the film overcome an uncertain premise and create characters that hold our attention absolutely.
This movie tries so hard to be funny, yet it falls flat every time. Just another example of recycled ideas repackaged with women in an attempt to appeal to a certain audience.
Andre Dussolier and Victoria Abril play an eccentric middle-aged French couple who have set up their own little private supermarket in their basement. After accidentally killing a rich old lady neighbor of theirs, they think that they will be her inheritors, but all her fortune goes to a mysterious - and never seen before by either of them - Algerian, who moves in next door. Suspecting that there is something wrong with this guy, they begin to spy on him and follow him around....Dussolier and Abril are talented actors who seem to be having fun working together (and Abril has still got "it"), but their performances are so consistently broad here that they tend to cross over into overacting. The film is designed to be a comedy-mystery, but it's a pretty ho-hum experience, until an interesting and quite unexpected turn of events near the end. A ** out of 4 seems about right.
