Simply Perfect
Pretty good movie overall. First half was nothing special but it got better as it went along.
It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.
Easily the biggest piece of Right wing non sense propaganda I ever saw.
Now, this is what I call REAL horror! As far as I'm concerned, it doesn't take tons of blood and endless butchery to horrify, it just takes the right story and the right atmosphere. This film has both, and terrifically well done, in spite of the small, indie production. The idea, besides, that what we see on screen does really happen, maybe behind the walls of your neighbor, only adds to the horror.I won't spoil anything because this movie must be enjoyed from start to finish, there is everything here: psychopathy, deep web, cannibalism, and a constant, impending sick feeling which will unnerve you for the whole duration and after the end. Don't miss it.
Feed is a disturbing psychological thriller which combines gruesome special effects with unsettling character studies of both its protagonist and its villain. What could easily have been a lame "shock" movie revolving around the feeder fetish becomes a compelling thriller. The film opens with an Australian police officer on an internet detail exposing an Armin Meiewes type case of cannibalism-shown in borderline nauseating detail. He soon latches onto another case as he finds a site showing morbidly obese women being fed for sexual gratification. He soon grows obsessed with the site, suspecting something far more sinister than fetish porn. The film succeeds largely on the strength of Alex O'Laughlin's performance as Michael, the man running the site. He makes a disturbingly convincing sociopath. The police officer is also a disturbing character, with the film exploring what the clichéd "rogue cop" character would be like in the real world. The performances are complemented by excellent and disgusting special effects. The film suffers from a weak, unrealistic ending that raises too many questions. Still, if you have a strong stomach, Feed is well worth watching.
In the last few years, Alex O'Loughlin has been all over TV in the USA, however FEED was his "Good Will Hunting". O'Loughlin helped write/create and star in this film, which I don't mind saying, caught me totally off guard. Bored and surfing Netflix one day, I happened upon this, clicked Play and spent the next few hours watching some of the strangest things I've ever seen in a movie. Of course FEED isn't studio-budget quality but then again, it wasn't a studio film. I thought the actors did great in their roles and even though I know nothing about the Feeder/Gainer lifestyle, I found them to be believable. If you can stand watching a man eat his own body parts and if you like weird, FEED is worth a watch.
This may be one of the most disturbing and sickest films you are likely to see. This is another film by "Dead Pit" director Brett Leonard, which was released in 2005. The story is about an Australian cybercrime investigator, that discovers a web site, where it appears a man is continually feeding an extremely obese 600 pounds plus woman to make her fatter, as she lies in bed mostly naked. That is the live feed apparently, but the web site is all about very fat woman which this movie shows plenty of. The investigator tracks the site to a location in the US, in Toledo, Ohio, and goes there trying to find the sicko doing all of this. But the question is, what if anything is illegal in what this guy is doing, because the fat woman seems to be enjoying it. Closer observation as the movie depicts what is really going on, and the story becomes even sicker. I just love this movie, it goes places where no movie I have seen goes. Everything about the movie is very gross, but it kept me very interested in how everything would turn out. The final confrontation between the cop and the sicko is truly memorable, as is the finale. I don't know if such a kinky perversion exists, where men continually feed their woman food to increase their weight to extreme obesity, but the film seems to think so, so maybe so, who knows. Anyway, it's a hell of an idea for a "Se7en" like thriller, and the best movie I have seen byBrett Leonard. I highly recommend this one, it had me going all the way through, and the ending is something else. The reveal of what the sickois feeding the woman to cause extreme weight gain, adds another level of disgust to an otherwise totally disgusting and disturbing movie. I love it, just up my alley for sure.
