Simple and well acted, it has tension enough to knot the stomach.

A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.

My husband, our nine year old daughter, 14 year old son, and I, recently spent a Sunday afternoon watching Broken Bridges, and I would have to say that it was a very enjoyable time for all of us! There was none of the too often included senseless violence, no constant and usually unnecessary foul language, no bed hopping or other unsavory behavior that required us to cover the nine year olds eyes!! Just a "nice" storyline that was told in a way that the whole family enjoyed. I would certainly love to see more of Lindsay Haun, she is very talented, and is now my daughters favorite's actor. This movie is in my opinion, definitely worth seeing!!!

I want to say what a great movie Broken Bridges was.I did a lot of crying threw the whole thing. It was a great story with wonderful people playing there parts. every person seem to fit there part to a tee.I hope to see more movies from CMT like this.I liked the fact that it was a kind of love story without all the mushie stuff.I bougth the movie the day it came out on DVD and have watched it at least three times a day. I loved the movie so much that I cant even say I have a favorite part or a favorite person. everyone did such a great job. It is for sure a must see movie.I will be looking forward to seeing more movies with Tobt Keith cause he was so wonderful in this one. Thanks for letting me write. wandaone

This is a great family film. Anyone should be proud to add this to their personal DVD library. It is one of those rare films that leaves you wanting to see more at the end, sorry that it's over and wanting to know more about the lives of the interesting characters. The story line is extremely moving and tugs at the heart strings. What a fabulous find - as there is much garbage out there. What great fun it is to share works of art such as this. I crave more films like this one and constantly search them out. Kudos to the creators! Thank you to the cast.FYI - check out Toby Keith's I Love That Bar and Grill restaurant/bar in Bricktown/Oklahoma City. It's a fun place with great atmosphere, serving up terrific food & entertainment.

I believe the theaters have gone nuts. I got to watch the premiere of this movie and it never progressed into a release. Only major cities got to keep it after that. There are a ton of people here who would love to see it. I've bragged about it to my co-workers and I'm not a real big Toby fan. I think maybe they are trying to put this movie down, when in reality it would have done pretty darn good at the box office. The theaters need to listen to those who go to the movies, rather than the critics. From what I can see it will be out on DVD without going to the theaters and that is very disappointing. Regal, Rave, and all the other theaters should take another look at what they missed at the box. They all complain about not enough people go to the movies, maybe they need to take another look at what they show. If you get the chance to see this on the big screen, it will be well worth what you spend for a ticket. It won't be quite as good on DVD.
