A lot of perfectly good film show their cards early, establish a unique premise and let the audience explore a topic at a leisurely pace, without much in terms of surprise. this film is not one of those films.

It's funny, it's tense, it features two great performances from two actors and the director expertly creates a web of odd tension where you actually don't know what is happening for the majority of the run time.

There are moments in this movie where the great movie it could've been peek out... They're fleeting, here, but they're worth savoring, and they happen often enough to make it worth your while.

The movie was predictable and I'm confused as to why people love this so much. The comedy was cringey and cheesy, the ending was uninteresting, the only things I liked were the action scenes, since I love gore. People praise this movie for being violent and sexy, but that's just it. There's not much more. I did enjoy the movie, mostly the side characters and they did a good job of making the villain hateable (in a good way) but I have to say I was expecting a bit more. It was a good movie, just not a great one, and definitely overrated.
