The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.

what a terribly boring film. I'm sorry but this is absolutely not deserving of best picture and will be forgotten quickly. Entertaining and engaging cinema? No. Nothing performances with flat faces and mistaking silence for subtlety.

This may contain spoilers.Over-all this movie was decent. It's not your block buster movie, but it's entertaining. They show big foot several times throughout the movie. You can tell this is a low budget movie but it kinda works for the movie.Some of the video footage is hooky but meh.The acting was also decent. A few moments when the actors could have made sense more intense but over all the job was done decent.The big foot costume was OK.If you are home sick from work go ahead and pop this movie in.

First off, I jumped at least 3 TIMES while watching this movie. Three jumps gets it a solid rating right off the bat. And I feel I have to write this one to bump up the average of this good 'found footage' film. I know a bunch of the people connected with "Blair Witch' and I met Dan and (Director) Eduardo Sanchez at an Artisan event out in LA. Gregg Hale who was producer on this is a very talented guy. When BW was happening, George Romero was 'Artist in Residence' at Valencia Community College's Film Program. He was shooting a 'mockumentary' as they were called then, of a Big Foot being discovered and running amok in Central Florida, 'Jacoranda Joe'. I'm sure that's what inspired the Blair Witch guys to do the film that has created the FF craze and I'm guessing it inspired this film as well. This movie has a little more depth to the lead character and what ends up being a VERY convincing Sasquatch. A VERY, VERY, ticked off one, too. There's some depth to the story and some pathos, as well. I think it's high time to cut the Blair Witch crowd some slack and forgive them for having such monumental success on their first outing. This is a heck of a lot better than sparkly bottomed vampires and the now tedious zombie invasion. Definitely give it a watch!!!

Exists is a good example for found footage done right. It isn't as annoying as i found many of those movies to be, with Evidence and Area 407 being some of the worst i've seen. The characters act understandable most of the time. They mostly try to survive and don't try to be the hero. The most important part for me though, is that there really aren't any obnoxious characters, shouting the whole movie just crap, like in my 2 examples. Another important point for me is the quality of the visuals and the effects. WETA did a good job with the special effects and everything about it looks really good. And the movie looks great. It's no "we do found footage, because we can't buy a good camera" movie. Sánchez used good cameras and he also clearly liked the work with a GoPro on his segment for V/H/S2.In short: It's a good looking found footage movie about Bigfoot, without super annoying characters. Definitely worth a watch, if you'd ask me.

This film was absolutely awesome! I saw it on Amazon and watched the trailer and just had to watch it. I came home turned out my lights turned up the volume and was terrified. This film will keep on the edge of your seat and get you some moments jumping out of your seat. I give it an 8 out of 10 because it is deserving of that rating! If you find fear in animal attacks and cheap scares this is the film for you! Great plot line as well not cheesy at all. I'm not spoiling anything but I did not see the ending coming at all! Be prepared for a wild and spine chilling ride through the frightening woods even during the daytime! Exists will not only make you question going camping again but also question if "IT" really does exist!
