I like the storyline of this show,it attract me so much
As Good As It Gets
It's an amazing and heartbreaking story.
This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.
This movie became infamous because of how controversial it was in that it featured a serial killer dressed as Santa Claus. The idea of an evil Santa has been done many times before, especially with the legend of the Krampus. The Krampus was a demon that punished naughty children that worked for Santa. I know he's not the same person as Santa, but it still comes off as strange people were so offended by this. That being said, this is still a really bad movie, at least for me. It's just amazing how trashy this film gets. I swear that there's four sex scenes in it! Two of them are rape scenes! There's a scene where a topless woman is impaled by deer horns. This movie just came off as rather offensive to me. I guess it is a little good with how they didn't get into the violence right away, but then the movie just came off as boring to me! Well, some people seem to like this and that's fine. For me, this is a pointlessly cruel film with gore galore. I admit that it's not as bad as the sequel, but for me it's still dumb. I know a 5.9 isn't that high of a rating, but I think we're being way too kind to this film. *1/2
In 1971 Billy and his family are traveling to see Grandpa at a Utah Mental facility. Grandpa seems to be suffering from Alzheimer's disease. The parents along with his little brother, Ricky see the doctor privately. They leave Billy alone with Grandpa in the rec room. When Grandpa suddenly talks, it scares Billy. He tells him Christmas Eve. is the scariest time of year. If children have been the least bit naughty, Santa punishes them. On the way home Billy tells his parents what Grandpa said. They are shocked and tell him not to listen to his stories. While traveling on a pitch black road a guy in a Santa suit waves them down, well Billy freaks and tells dad don't stop. Well they do anyway to see if he needs help. When the guy in the Santa suit approaches the car; he pulls a gun on the family. They try to escape, but the only one able is Billy. He runs into the field where he sees his father shot and his mother murdered and raped.Three Years later in 1974 Billy is 8 and Ricky is 3, they are in St. Mary's Orphanage, in Utah. Billy still has the scars of that night and it shows. One day in class he draws a grim picture of Santa and his Reindeer. He is immediately sent to see Mother Superior. The Mother Superior is stern and believe in punishment. Sister Margaret feels for Billy. She knows he is severely traumatized, and the Christmas season makes him worse. The Mother Superior ignores Sister Margaret and punishes him anyway for the picture, among other things that occur during his stay at St. Mary's. It's 1984 and Billy has aged out of the orphanage. He needs to find a job and with Sister Margaret's help he does. Billy gets a job at Ira's Toy's, and he is the ideal worker at first. He impresses his Boss, Mr. Sims that it makes his co-worker Andy jealous. When the Christmas Season rolls around though, Billy changes. One day the store Santa hurts his leg ice skating. When Billy is approached by Sims to work someplace else in the store, Billy is all for it. When he finally finds out what his job will be, he S##T's in a way. He starts to change psychologically more. After playing Santa on Christmas Eve, the store has it's annual Christmas party. It seems to be going well at first everyone is jolly; Sims who is so drunk approaches Billy. When he says those words "you know what Santa does on Christmas Eve, don't you" Billy Starts to crack. Slowly he goes on a killing spree in the store, then though out the State of Utah. If he sees anyone doing anything Naughty( Bullying, Sex, E.T.C.)he will make them pay. This psychotic behavior is from those events of the night in 1971; and the treatment he received from the Mother Superior at St. Mary's Orphanage. Thus triggering him back to the Orphanage; to find the Mother Superior that was so abusive to him. This film is pretty cool, not too much gore; but you will have the typical boob show in this film.
Traumatised after witnessing a man in a Santa suit brutally murder his parents, a teenager goes on a killing spree after his employer forces him to dress as Santa in this controversial horror thriller. With a plot that mostly follows slasher clichés, 'Silent Night, Deadly Night' is easy to forget amid the surplus of 1980s horror flicks, but it is a highly competent production that stands up well to revision. The film actually does a better job than John Carpenter's far more iconic 'Halloween' in establishing the psychology and mindset of its serial killer protagonist. Eighteen minutes of exposition may sound like a lot, but it works magnificently for getting us to understand how the character ticks and actually pity him, heinous though his actions may be. The film takes a potent swipe at church-run orphanages too in which children have religion forced upon them with the protagonist a victim of this system in addition the aforementioned childhood trauma. The film does not do itself any favours by painting the nuns as stereotypes and lead actor Robert Brian Wilson is never really convincing, but everything else falls into place so well here that it is hard not to like it. The filmmakers approach the project with the perfect dose of dark humour too; "he sure knows how to handle kids!" comments one mother after Wilson quietly threatens a girl sitting on his Santa's lap! The Yuletide themed deaths also come with streak of black comedy and there is an awesome 'Battleship Potemkin' lions style sequence in which several toy soldiers appear to react to a toy store death.
First, the good, the killer,he is unique and very interesting when it comes to his personality. The kills, they are creative and have great effects. The setting and the beginning are very creepy. The score and cinematography are good. There is a great scene where the killer talks to a little girl.I like how the movie shows that nobody is completely nice. The best part is the first 30 minutes, similar to the Halloween remake, they both delve into the killer's mind and how he is affected by the world around him. Now,the bad,the characters, they are all unlikable and you don't care about any of them.Another flaw is that there is too much nudity,it makes you feel awkward while watching it.There is no suspense and the killer gets worse once he starts killing everyone in sight for no reason and only saying the word "punish".Silent Night,Deadly Night is very overrated(horror fans love it),although it has good kills, setting, and concept,it also is too in your face, with no characters to care about.
