This concert is definitely one of the best concerts John Mayer has ever performed! His voice is amazing, his guitar playing's at another level, even the band has a great chemistry. What's really interesting about this concert is that he has taken the best of his tracks (mainly from the Continuum album) and given it a whole new feel and sound. Even the guitar solos are better than the originals. This concert is categorized into 3 sections:- Acoustic, Trio & Band The Acoustic set is basically playing most of the songs that he plays the acoustic guitar on, but you'll be surprised on how different it sounds without the band. The opening song Neon is the best version of that song I've heard him perform anywhere. He also introduces 2 new songs (one original and one cover) In Your Atmosphere and Free Fallin' which sounds amazing. The Trio set is just drop-dead blues at its best. The energy between the three is just insane and they really managed to kick it up a notch after the acoustic set. You also get to see a very different side of Mayer which is quite unusual, and it's most present during his solo of the blues jam Out Of My Mind. The Band set is what everyone was waiting for. The instrumentation is perfect and it just goes well with all the songs he performs. The highlight of the band event was obviously Gravity, which is his best performance of that song ever! The singing, the solo, the energy! It's just perfect! So overall this is DVD is definitely worth your purchase. Its shot using high definition cameras and really has a nice, sharp quality to it. A must buy for all Mayer fans, you'll never look at him the same way again!
