This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.
The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.
All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.
It is encouraging that the film ends so strongly.Otherwise, it wouldn't have been a particularly memorable film
1 - The soundtrack is OK...not great just good, I used to be a big fan of 50 cent back in the days now I'm just not, still I don't think he's bad so I must say that the movie's soundtrack is OK. 2 - Terrence Howard: He's acually an actor, he knows how to give great performances wich made the movie he made after this "hustle & Flow" such a great and much better movie than this one, maybe Get Rich or Die Trying would've been a much better movie if he was the main character and not 50 cent. 3 - Adewale agbaje: knows how to play a psycho, a gangster or whatever, he is an actor, this wasn't his best role or movie but still I knows his spot, to me he and Terrence Howard were the only real gangsters in this so called "Gangster" movie.
this movie should die like his mother, its fake all fake 50 cent does not have a 13 inch uncut salami pole, his mothers tuna town would have not taken it, even tho it was looser than 2 chainz watches. anyways the booty in the movie was OK I never have seen a niggaars dairy air before it looks like a gorillas dry butt hole.
The film is supposedly a biographical account of 50 cents own life. I am sure a lot of artistic liberties has been taken and then some more. Its well directed, well acted, a lot of violence, swearing, rap music and there is some tenderness as well. Its another story of someone who ends up on the wrong side of the tracks, gets in with some hoodlums, in jail and finds redemption through music. If you do not like rap music its not for you. 50 Cents does OK in the lead role but he surrounds himself with a good supporting cast and a sure- footed director.
A lot of undeserved negative reviews from close minded ppl who cant understand the character, plot, or underlying message. it is to be expected with the way most Hollywood crime films are structure and the insane ignorance that comes from a lifetime of those type of films so i don't know y i am surprised. this films offers a gritty, raw, and a very powerful underlying message that u can only understand if u care to look deeper and let the film take u for a ride. 50's character is definiteley based off himself so i think ppl where expecting a lot of emotion and crazyness that goes with most crime dramas, but he is exactly the opposite. keep that in mind when watching the film and if u are able to dig beneath the surface of emotionless scene play then you'll have a better chance of understanding the films structure and see the raw power of the script come to life. Don't listen to negative voters who are used to Hollywood bullshit. im very impressed with this film and 50' s ability to write script, not a bad way to market an album 50, keep it up.
