Unconditional
Samantha Crawford is living a storybook life: she’s happily married, she lives on a ranch where she keeps her beloved horse, and the stories she’s told and illustrated since childhood have become published books. When her husband Billy is killed in a senseless act of violence, Sam loses her faith and her will to live. But a death-defying encounter with two children leads to a reunion with Joe, her oldest friend. As Sam watches “Papa” Joe care for and love the kids in his under-resourced neighborhood, she begins to realize that no matter life’s circumstances, the love of God is always reaching out to us.

It's entirely possible that sending the audience out feeling lousy was intentional
One of the most extraordinary films you will see this year. Take that as you want.
It's simply great fun, a winsome film and an occasionally over-the-top luxury fantasy that never flags.
This movie tries so hard to be funny, yet it falls flat every time. Just another example of recycled ideas repackaged with women in an attempt to appeal to a certain audience.
It was okay. I guess. I watched it for class but I don't know why. I don't know what it was supposed to teach us. Was it to teach us to track down the murderer of our loved one even if the cops stop, or was it supposed to teach us that we shouldn't turn our backs on others and to always lend a helping hand. The movie was alright until you realize that its one gigantic advertisement for the Elijah Hope Foundation which is led by the real Joe from the movie. The acting was alright. If you ever wondered what happened to Wolverines wife in X-man origins, she's in this. The child actors did their job, especially the boy. Other than that this movie is a 5.6/10
This movie was filled with hope, joy, and redemption. It showed how one tragedy can save another tragedy from taking place. Samantha is devastated by her husband's death and wants to end her life, Macon and Keisha are stealing because they are poor, and Joe has an issue with his kidneys because he was stabbed in prison. Everything seems to be falling apart. Keisha getting hit by a car saved Samantha from taking her life, Joe took care of orphans, Macon had trouble with grades because the kids he was hanging out with said it wasn't cool to succeed in life, Samantha thinks Anthony is her husband's killer. And Keisha didn't speak, and Macon and Keisha's mother Denise is an alcoholic and is not a very good role model to her kids. I liked how one tragedy saved another tragedy from taking place. Keisha was hit by a hit and run driver which stopped Samantha from ending her life because she went to help. I liked that God was brought into the movie. Denise would have never stopped drinking if God wasn't in her life. I didn't like how cheesy some of the parts were. I would have also changed some of the background music. When the background music is cheesy it makes the whole scene look cheesy. When Joe was rushed to the hospital because of his kidneys the music made it seem as if he had died. Parts like that created confusion for me. The characters in this movie, for the most part, did a good job. Some characters were a bit cheesy but they did better than I would. Samantha's mic showed during one part so I think they could have done a better job with that. It didn't make sense that Anthony was mean to Macon since he wasn't the murderer it made no sense. I think this movie is for a younger audience. This movie would help pre-teens or younger teens who are going through tough times..
The film was eye catching, stunning. The film unconditional is about a young woman named Sam who had lost her husband. On her hunt to find his killer, Sam runs into an old friend and takes this amazing journey. Sam has just saved this little girls life after a car hit the little girl. When the car hit the girl Sam had reclaimed her flame with and old friend Joe had hit the girl. I love the portrayal of the music in the movie it fit very well with the setting and the time of the movie. I also love the way they share the love throughout the movie with everybody even the ones that had hurt them. I disliked the way the portrayed some of the characters as bad when they truly are not. I was also not a big fan of how they make the kids feel bad and sad of themselves. I liked most of the characters Joe and Sam where played very well by Lynn Collins and Michael Ealy. The effects of the movie were phenomenal they really made you feel emotions. I really love this movie. I do recommend if you love heart felt happy tears. You will cry tears of joy and sadness it is a great movie.
In the heartwarming movie unconditional, the main character Sam is on a mission to find and kill the man who shot down her husband in cold blood. The Movie starts off with Sam sitting in her old truck in the rain. It shows her reach into the glove box and pull out a revolver which she takes with her into the dark alley that her husband died in. She is going to pull the trigger on herself when she hears a scream. Two young black kids had just robbed a store and the little girl Keisha, had been hit by an unknown driver who fled the scene. Hovering over top of her screaming was her older brother Macon. At this point you are glued to the screen with terror. Sam takes the kids to the hospital where Keisha is immediately rushed into the emergency room. While sitting in the Hospital worried about Keisha, she meets the man who at this point is assumed to be there dad. They are introduced to one another, and realize that when they were both kids they were best friends, his name was Joe. They agree to meet soon and the next day Keisha is released from the hospital. Through Sam and Joe talking and catching up, she learned that Joe ran a make shift organization to help at risk kids around the projects of Nashville. Since Sam is a children's book author she likes to come help them out. After many happy trips and experiences with the kids Joe gets rushed into the hospital in need of a kidney and the doctors are not sure if he can get one in time to survive. At this point you're on the edge of your seat with fear, the shot goes to a gravestone, hiding the name on it...to find out how it ends watch the movie. I thought the film was very good, the shots were heartwarming and at some points it was very suspenseful. I liked the music especially in the sad parts. I loved the scenes that took place at her farm, it was a beautiful setting. I didn't like that Sam's husbands murder was not explained a little earlier in the movie because some parts were confusing concerning that. I think the actors all played there rolls very well, except for Sam's accent even though she is from Nashville. It sounded like she was trying a little too hard to sound country. Every roll was very different in their background and experiences which shaped their personality, all the actors did awesome. I thought the movie was really good, I really have to be in to a movie to sit down and watch the whole thing. This movie was easy to watch start to finish, it seemed to fly by.
