It's entirely possible that sending the audience out feeling lousy was intentional

Ok... Let's be honest. It cannot be the best movie but is quite enjoyable. The movie has the potential to develop a great plot for future movies

The thing I enjoyed most about the film is the fact that it doesn't shy away from being a super-sized-cliche;

There is something very very special about this movie. Sure Leo is completely nuts in his mission to pursue Colette. Buts that is only a fragment of the actual plot, like the glue between the pieces.Mostly I love this movie for everything it achieves, the scenery is beautiful and magnificent, and it plays so well into the story. From his fear of hights, to her love for nature. And I have never before in my life watched a movie in witch I did like every character. To the Troys trying to defend their friend yet still being professional with the gallery, to Julie and her need to find someone to climb mountains for her. No scene or shot is boring, fore they all seem to have a bigger purpose. This movie has so many red threads and symbols yet they all tie into a beautiful knot at the end. I also love how this movie has no rushed decisions. Colette did not even consider Leo until she found out that her husband did not respect her viewes on the renovation project, as he stood talking to a man he knew she despised. Leo did not follow Colette like a lost puppy, instead he showed her that he was interested in getting to know her. He went on her four of her tours and listened to her views, but he stayed stubborn. Following his heart, trying so hard to make her see in him what he saw in her. When she punches him in the faces you do not feel sad for the guy. It is rightfully what he deserves. But his apology in sunflowers is the first sign that he might not be so wrong for her. She needs a break after her divorce and she tells him that she did not leave her husband for him he leaves her alone, respecting her and listening to her Leo finally setts his stubbornness aside to please her request. Then in curiosity she picks up his book and fortunately falls in love with him through his words. In the end she is the one chasing him. What I mentioned above, the whitty jokes and amazing humor is what makes this movie special. In my opinion this movie did not need a happy ending to be a 10/10, but I am still happy I got one.

"The Right Kind of Wrong" features a man, Leo Palamino (Ryan Kwanten), broken and worthless after his ex-wife left him. And wrote a blog called "Why You Suck." And wrote a book based on the massively successful blog. Leo isn't necessarily heartbroken, just annoyed. But then he meets a girl, one who can kick a football. He watched her get married and still decided he was going to win her over.I liked the premise. It seemed like a typical romantic comedy, which it is, but the set-up in the opening scenes was all executed. His ex, Julie, is reading his faults from her blog-turned-book – his goals are unattainable dreams, just as he decides he's going to marry Colette at her wedding. He then tells his friends that he has met a new girl. They are all happy for him. Where did he meet her? At a wedding. That's nice; they're still happy for him. Whose wedding? Hers! His friends' happiness fades into concern, but Leo remains happy.The problem isn't that the movie doesn't live up to expectations, but more that it doesn't remain funny as the film executes exactly as it's supposed to. Boy meets girl, boy falls for girl, and boy attempts to win girl over. And the movie spends exactly an hour and a half on the boy attempts to win girl over part. I didn't see the appeal of Colette, but one of Leo's faults is that he makes snap judgements. So I suppose one doesn't need to like Colette, just Leo.Kwanten's Leo was enjoyable. A little more pitiful than your typical everyman, and a little less likely to succeed with his unattainable romantic goals. Perhaps it's only fitting that the movie doesn't succeed with its romantic comedy aspirations. It's a Canadian production of a typical Hollywood movie. Shot on location in Alberta, the mountains, creeks and woods were beautiful, but the writing also had its hills and valleys. The quirky comedy wasn't funny, the expected storyline drags a little long, and then the ending wasn't anything new. "The Right Kind of Wrong" was supposed to be a different kind of romantic comedy, but when the humour fades away, it just doesn't work.

From my viewpoint there's nothing much wrong with the Right Kind of Wrong. At first I figured it would be another low budget trite teen comedy. But instead I viewed triumph of the spirit. A film about a good guy(Ryan Kwanten) down on himself because of his marriage breakdown.Then its love at first sight with a new bride at her wedding (Sara Canning). He becomes obsessed with winning her away from her husband. In the process he discovers his true self and his new love discovers him.Now to top this off, the film was shot amidst the rustic and majestic splendor of Alberta, Canada. And to be honest, it is a plus factor for tourism there.I'm going. This was a thoroughly enjoyable film.

Here we have an excellent romantic comedy filmed in Canada and I really mean excellent. Ryan Kwanten is a great Australian actor, (though he does let his accent slip a couple of times, that most people won't even notice) he is really funny, and very good at the physical comedy and he uses those skills very well in this movie. Will Sasso Is kind of blowing up right now, and I am glad to see it as he has been paying his dues for a long time. The story is more in the style that a guy can deal with watching if he is forced to, with pratfalls, and lots of great characters that get developed really well over the course of the movie. I had a good laugh, and really Enjoyed this movie, so there is no reason that I would not recommend it. You have to be warned that there is some really Canadian style adult humour.
