Don Champagne seems to have it all, but when his wife, Mona, learns of his affair with a pretty new salesgirl, she will stop at nothing to maintain their storybook life. The worst thing about Home Sweet Home is easily how some pretty good actors get wasted in awful roles and a bad script actors such as Jim Belushi, Patrick Wilson and Katherine Heigl as for Jordana Brewster she might be good in Fast & Furious but i haven't seen her in anything good besides that and this film is no exception either. It's a bad excuse of a comedy and a bad excuse of a film it's not funny or even worth your time and your money it's just boring and simply awful (3/10).

Don is a man who is used to his boring life, his wife who makes a schedule for everything , even the days they can have sex. When Dusty comes in his life everything changes. She brings life to his every day. And the moment she makes the announcement to him everything he knew is destroyed. He has to chose: Tell Mona about everything and take what the consequences may be or handle it his own way. After a careful thought he decides to do the first and that is when things get serious as I said before.Mona is a woman who has suffered very much in her childhood, she is very organizing and does her best to keep everything and everyone under her control. After Don explains to her the situation she does what she does best. Planning. Only now she plans to kill Dusty. But until the end she hasn't done only that… This film goes mild for the first 20-30 min. The good part starts from the moment Don tells her the truth. From that moment and on we see a whole new Mona. A Mona that loves killing, cutting and everything in between. Even if that is walking with white stilettos in a blood pond. The pros in this film are: Katherine Heigle who plays the nuts role perfectly, the music is not excellent but fits well, and the humorous lines of Mona. I give to this film 5 stars out of 10.

Katherine Heigl takes her knifes again, but this time not for curing a patient - like she did in Grey's anatomy few years ago - but for a totally different reason. This movie is a black comedy with a little bit of a drama, soft (very soft) porn and crime. To be honest I didn't like none of the characters that's why I didn't care about how they end up. Overall Home Sweet Hell is the perfect choice for Katherine's Heigl fans, because her performance as a psycho wife is perfect. As for the deeper meanings of this movie (superficial happiness, infidelity, childhood trauma, repressed desires, etc.) don't expect to find any answer.
