Very very predictable, including the post credit scene !!!

I am only giving this movie a 1 for the great cast, though I can't imagine what any of them were thinking. This movie was horrible

There are moments in this movie where the great movie it could've been peek out... They're fleeting, here, but they're worth savoring, and they happen often enough to make it worth your while.

*SPOILER ALERT* *SPOILER ALERT* My brother gave me this DVD about a year ago. I finally got around to watching it. A movie called "Immoral Tales" demands that the viewer be in the proper frame of mind before viewing its immorality. Something inside me told me that today was the day for an art house erotic tale. So now I've seen it. Hmmmm. Maybe I should have waited a couple more years.I always wondered why he would give up a perfectly good softcore flick. Now I know. Actually, to call this movie a softcore flick is erroneous. This movie is not interested in sex, softcore or otherwise. It is interested in being immoral in the artiest way possible."Immoral Tales" is divided into four segments. They've got cousin games, zucchini loving, bathing and church debauchery. The first two tales are boring and uneventful. The cousins are boring and the zucchini is uneventful. The second two stories start to give the movie a much needed lift. In the third tale, the Countess brings a truckload of naked women to her castle and watches them bathe. These women scrub themselves super, squeaky clean. It all ends in blood, hysteria and more cleaning. The last tale has some horny priests getting it on. It's all immoral and it's all scandalous but is it erotic? No. I've seen music videos that have turned me on more.On the plus side, there are a ton of naked women in this movie. But the third tale is the only one worth watching. It's basically an exercise in watching naked women bathe. Hey, whatever works. The only thing that I found shocking was the scene where the soldier holds up the naked baby girl for the Countess. I really don't need to see that. Of all the Immoral Tales, that just might be a little too immoral.

This is Borowczyk at his worst, even worse than the other two Borowczyk films I've seen. It is astonishing that the four tales can be packed with beautiful, naked women and still be so boring. Borowczyk does have the ability to portray graphic scenes beautifully, and the tale about Elizabeth Bathory is particularly beautifully shot - and it is the only one with a recognizable story.The other three tales are just very, very boring, with discreet and unerotic sex scenes and no real characters, only stereotypes. The first tale, set in the present day, involves some indulgent rubbish linking tides and fellatio. The second links cucumbers and saintliness (I think!)and I lost the point of the last completely, other than that it involved Lucrezia Borgia and the pope. Give it a miss.

Contes Immoraux/Immoral Tales(1974) is an erotic series of short films that opens with "The Tide". This first tale is about a young girl who is taught by her cousin about the connection between sex and the highest peak of a water wave. The story is average and is the least interesting. This tale is about how sex and intellectual thinking can go hand to hand. About how sex and the idea of sexual contact is thought up by the middle class. The second tale in the film is one of the two best tales in this sensual anthology. Its about a sexually repressed young woman that discovers her urges through her religion beliefs. Charlotte Alexandra who plays the sex hungry woman is excellent in the role as well as absolutely breathtaking and arousing. She finds her sexual pleasure through fantasies of sex and self sex using vegetables. The story is about a woman's yearning to be independant and feminine. The tale telling of the Countess Elisabeth Bathory is the best story. It takes place during the final hours of the countess before her arrest at the orders of the king. The story takes a shot at the government structure by showing its self indulgence and absolute corruption. Elisabeth Bathory was not a vampire in the traditional sense. First, she was still alive and did not suck blood. Paloma Picasso, daughter of the fame artist is wonderful in the role of the infamous countess(interestingly, when she is arrested the kings men put a suit on her that reminds me of the prisoner's arrest suit in Brazil). The next and final tale is about one of the most scandalous moments in the 20th Century. It features a shocking menage a trois that is very bold to view. The story is about the love affair between Lucrezia Borgia and her father, the pope plus another man. The sex sequences are disturbing and shocking. This story is very powerful in its depiction of religious corruption.

At first when I rented this movie I thought it was going to be one of those kinda boring old movies but still interesting, but it turned out to be a soft porno old movie just as boring. The first story is about a dumb fella who wants an oral over-haul on a seemingly damn cold bay. The second one is about a girl who likes to play with a cucumber on a very odd way. The third one is about lots of girls running around naked and maybe a little more, but since when the movie was about the half of the third story, me and my girl became so bored that we decided to make love instead of trying to understand how the director could make sex stories so boring (I know I have abused of the word "bore", but it was DAMN BORING!), we didn't watch that story and payed attention until the last story where we just saw a guy on a Pope disguise having his way with the supposedly Borgia girl up, down and from behind. Well, it was, in a single word, BORING. (Hope my language wasn't too strong) }:)
