Very best movie i ever watch
After playing with our expectations, this turns out to be a very different sort of film.
Ok... Let's be honest. It cannot be the best movie but is quite enjoyable. The movie has the potential to develop a great plot for future movies
An old-fashioned movie made with new-fashioned finesse.
The film exposes the games the Britishers played with the Indians when they set foot on Indian soil. To cite, two instances, when Captain Russell forces the Raja, a vegetarian, to eat meat or when Russell challenges Bhuvan for a game of cricket, keep the viewer awestruck.Even the post-challenge sequences that show Aamir gradually making his team of eleven, have been handled proficiently. But the highlight of the film is, without doubt, the cricket match, which dominates the second half completely. The filming of the cricket match is the most exhilarating part of the film, which keeps the viewer on tenterhooks right till the end. The highs and lows of the villagers and the emotions attached to the game are so true to life, which is why the cinegoer becomes a part of the crowd watching the game on screen.
I recommend this filmThe film has more positive than negative . The scénario is found and its history. The réalisateur shows us the injustice for British colonized India. It is interesting to make a film on this subject with cricket. For positives:I find that the main character has charisma : brave ; strong ; intelligent. I find lively music. The film is a mixture of drama , love and competition. In this film , we get attached to the different character with each character. Is the first film that i watch Bollywood. For negatives:The film is good but it is a bit too long. It is mostly in the middle of the film does not happen much and that they are boring... I liked the movie ends badly : that British win facing the people. It would have allowed us to understand the pain of the people who were colonized at the same time in 1893.In conclusion , i found this film good but with elements to change.
This movie is widely regarded as one of the greatest Bollywood movies of all time and it definitely deserves that recognition. The scope, production budget and attention to detail were unprecedented for the time in which it was released. Apart from that, the natural performances given by the actors make the movie one to remember. The runtime of the movie is absolutely huge but surprisingly passes by in a breeze. The wonderful soundtrack composed by A.R. Rahman is one of the best ever and it complements the movie beautifully. Aamir Khan shows that he is one of the most talented actors in India and always chooses his movies wisely. I hope that other filmmakers take inspiration from this movie and try to make more such movies which show the real India. A must watch for all cinema-goers.
This work of art is a film of childhood memory. Loved the great amount of emotional depth portrayed by Aamir Khan in the way it was required. The bar was set high and he achieved it through working all of the other characters into his as if he knew them for years. The cinematography when Paul Blackthorne catches the ball to the slow pan downwards really captured the hearts of the audience. These scenes are memorable forever for the ones who went through these harsh times in India. This film's cast from the baby face of the protagonist and the fierce look in the eyes of Paul Blackthorne. Great movie! Must see film if you're an Indian. Drama packed action with some romantic love reminiscing behind the tragedy.
