Poultrygeist: Night of the Chicken Dead
When the American Chicken Bunker, a military themed fast food restaurant, builds its latest chain restaurant on the site of an ancient Native American burial ground, the displaced spirits take revenge on unsuspecting diners and transform them into chicken zombies! Now, it’s up to a dimwitted counter boy, his collegiate lesbian ex-girlfriend and a burqa-wearing fry cook to put an end to the foul feathered menace once and for all.

The Worst Film Ever
It's hard to see any effort in the film. There's no comedy to speak of, no real drama and, worst of all.
The film creates a perfect balance between action and depth of basic needs, in the midst of an infertile atmosphere.
If you like to be scared, if you like to laugh, and if you like to learn a thing or two at the movies, this absolutely cannot be missed.
This film was a complete waste of my life. It wasn't even so bad that it was good, it was worse than that. If you want a terrible movie that entertains then you've got to be looking at Megashark Vs Giant Octopus - this will provide all the low-budget thrills you need without wanting to throw up in seconds. Particular low-lights include a man's testicles being deep fried, the singing set pieces and the use of a broomstick as a penis. Oh, and let's not forget the exploding feces guy - that sucked too. This film had no redeeming features; even the lesbians looked like washed out crack junkies barely on the road to recovery. In fact, I watched this film in Canada and somehow this made Canada seem a little seedier and darker than it had before. No more Tim Horton's for me. I hate this film.
I liked it. Let's get this straight. It is cheesy to say the very least but I think that made the film, after all, have you ever seen a serious film about half-zombie-half-chickens? lol The major problem I have with this film is that it tries to offend everyone - although it failed to hit us straight, white, British, it did get very annoying. I hope it doesn't offend you too, because it is a brilliant idea for a film, as I may have mentioned before. The choice of music entertained me. I have never seen a better use for "In The Hall Of The Mountain King" or Grindcore Death Metal. Yes. I am a metal fan... This film is obviously done on a tight budget and it shows throughout, but the directing, editing and camera-work is superb! Even the close-ups of the obviously fake anus didn't look out of place. Comedy films appeal to me, zombie film appeal to me and cheesy, low budget films appeal to me. If these things appeal to you, and you love some gore (constantly throughout!)then this film is deffo for you! XDThis film is so colourful too! Reds and greens everywhere. I gagged at points too!
Those who are familiar with Troma would not be in the least surprised that lesbians, vegetarians, Muslims, fast-food joints, mega-corporations, Mexicans, Native Americans, Gays, and fat people would all be parodied and dissed.Add zombies, lots of vomit, lots of blood, sex with chicken carcasses, cannibalism, decapitations, and a bathroom completed covered in shite after a visit from Jared. And, yeah, the things they did with the deep fat fryer and meat slicing machine. Ugh! Lets not forget that there are way more breasts in the film that in a dozen buckets of the Colonel's chicken. With homage to Day of the Dead, Aliens, and other, and lots of double entendres, it was so disgusting, it was hilarious.Jason Yachanin and Kate Graham were great in their first film.
I'm a huge fan of Troma films, especially the Toxic Avenger flicks, although I haven't seen a lot lot of Troma movies (Tromeo and Juliet's one of my faves also) This movie is freaking hilarious! It's very low budget, but watching the movie, it doesn't look like it. The acting, for a Troma film, is great, the effects are good, and just the production values look good. The whole film is satire, and you'd have to have a really good, open sense of humor to enjoy it. Those who hate it obviously didn't "get" it, thinking it took itself too seriously, or maybe they just think Juno is the only funny movie out there. It's insanely gory and over-the-top with some pretty disgusting moments (durrrr) and just plain fun and hilarious. Also, the musical numbers are pretty sweet!! ANY Troma fan should see this and love it, and even if you've never seen a Troma film, THIS is where you should start! Poultrygeist is an 8/10 !!
