I love this movie so much
The Age of Commercialism
In truth, there is barely enough story here to make a film.
Although I seem to have had higher expectations than I thought, the movie is super entertaining.
As soon as you see an animal in a movie you know they're going to kill it. It's either to make you angry with the bad guys as in John Wicke or to create sympathy for the protagonist as is the intention here. It's lazy writing and it sickens me. What you're actually doing is alienating the animal lovers in your audience. There's actually a website called "Did the Dog Die" with the specific purpose of reducing the audience of the lazy writers who do this to zero. Sadly I failed to check it as I wasn't expecting a dog.
Wow. This was clearly a fresh adaptation in and old story. Acting was above average for most of the cast and especially for young Adam who really sunk into his role. The entire film is an emotional journey, superbly narrated. There were clear plot weaknesses specially regarding actions from the police.Unfortunately it got 7/10 from me, mainly due to its ending. The film leaves you with a bad unsatisfying taste in your mouth. You expect more to come - especially due to fact that Adam was narrating his story all the time.In any case, a great new take on an old genre.
i watched this film with my best friend on the phone it was her choice to choose a film and poopoooed out this film (the word I wanted to use is prohibited, it rhymes with kit) choice it was B * LLL SSSSSSS. the only good thing is Xavier is really cute my friend would like to add that he should have been made of body partsbut he wasn't and that he grunts too much. this film is very confusingas you want to throw up whilst crying whilst wanting to rip Ur eyes out apparently a review has to be ten lines so I'm just filing out space I hope u had a nice day la la laoverall, this film was really awful but it was at least better than TALES OF TALE
6.75 of 10. Frankenstein zombie or Frankenstein clone? It's definitely not Frankenstein robot. Nonetheless, it feels like a horror story inspired by Philip K. Dick's Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? - or at least the the question, not the more developed Blade Runner adaptation. It's better than any of the film/TV versions of Frankenstein. Rather than trying to stay literal to a story we know is, at least technically, nonsense, it pursues a more realistic though still at the moment purely sci-fi angle. What makes the film engaging beyond the slightly revised plot setup is the pacing and the thoughtful adaptation and fitting in of the book characters that interact with "Monster". What makes it less engaging is the narration. By the end it feels like a setup for either a TV series or a sequel or 2 rather than a complete story.
