It is so lovely, although it is 2D. Everything from characters to action to backgrounds to story is perfect. You should put in on your watchlist. It's for kids, as well for the older fellows.

I thought this was kind of cute. The animation was bad, but who cares? Rapunzel sounded a bit different, but Eugene stayed the same, which I loved. "Wind in My Hair" was pretty. Disney was actually creative with how Rapunzel's hair grows back. They often do horrible sequels (like Return to the Sea. Oops! Ursula is dead, but she has a sister, happening to be voiced by Pat Carroll, too!). However, one thing changed it all. I was so upset. Eugene asks Rapunzel to marry him, and he mentions living in the castle together. Rapunzel wants to explore, so she refuses. That confused and upset me. Rapunzel would prefer exploring over Eugene? He loved her. Loved her more than his own life. They're probably the only animated Disney pair to have proved true love. Rapunzel said she would stay a prisoner with Mother Gothel if Gothel would let her heal Eugene. Eugene wanted her to be free and then used his LAST STRENGTH to cut Rapunzel's hair she she would NOT save him and would be free. And then she prefers exploring over the person that loves her more than his own life? How can that happen? This one thing upset me so much. They were the only pair to show TRUE love, putting someone else before yourself, then Rapunzel would like to explore? They don't have to live inside the castle! That's a minor part of Eugene's speech. They can explore together. I know that at the end of Tangled, Eugene says that after tons of asking, he finally said yes, then he admitted it was him that did the asking, not Rapunzel. However, the only thing we know is that he asked her. We didn't know if he meant it was him that asked over and over. Well, now we know....This one moment upset me. I felt it changed everything and regret watching it. Stick with the original movie and Tangled Ever After unless it doesn't bother you as well.

It was unexpected for the 'Tnagled' fans. I'm one of them. Apart from the short film, they had forgotten about this potential animation franchise. It has been 7 years since the first film and now this television film suddenly made its way. It is an hour long film and a television series is to follow. That news is even more exciting, isn't it. I already saw a couple of episodes and it was equally brilliant. It is good for Disney channel after their top show 'Girl Meets World' concluded, this one is replaced it just like that. This is not a 3D animation, but a product for television in this format is not bad. Because I've seen 3D format TV series and I feel the quality is yet to improve. In fact, the 2D animation was awesome. From the textures to the colours, film characters, backgrounds, it was impressive. Very happy that they have retained almost all the voice-over artists. The original tale means always about the long hair princess. They wanted to keep that way. So that's why this film before the series to commence which reveals an important detail.I would say it is a breakthrough for the directors. From this success, I'm anticipating them to involve in a feature 3D animated film for Disney. Despite this triumph, I am hoping for a sequel to the 2010 film, particularly after the first season and before the second to commence to follow from that film. Anyway, this is short and sweet, a film not to be missed by animation fans, especially by Disney fans.7/10

I saw some bad reviews on this earlier so figured i would weigh inThe only thing I did not like like about it was the formulaic singing that Disney seems to do with all their stuff, I believe Disney has some kind of computer program, and anyone who sings, especially women, must adhere to this voice to within 95%, so we always get nice sounding voices with very little range. But no highs or lows, the same sounding voice over and over.I did not detect any sort of lesbian thing here, the relationship between daughter and Father is strongly emphasizedThe animation is weak and will probably be dinged as low budget, but its serviceableIt comes across as a movie targeting girls between K-10 grades, but my wife and i enjoyed it, which is saying something since both of us often avoid Disney, their stuff is pretty redundantHopefully the upcoming episodes will be as enjoyable
