Shrek
It ain't easy bein' green -- especially if you're a likable (albeit smelly) ogre named Shrek. On a mission to retrieve a gorgeous princess from the clutches of a fire-breathing dragon, Shrek teams up with an unlikely compatriot -- a wisecracking donkey.

Waste of time
Good movie, but best of all time? Hardly . . .
It’s an especially fun movie from a director and cast who are clearly having a good time allowing themselves to let loose.
Blistering performances.
After his swamp is filled with magical creatures, Shrek agrees to rescue Princess Fiona for a villainous lord in order to get his land back. Shrek is a film that although fun it touches on some morel codes and how love is truly blind without that meaning it's a bad thing. The acting was superb especially from Eddie Murphy as the Donkey which you can't do otherwise than just love the damn guy. It's a film with lot's of great animation, a beautiful story about love and friendship, lots of humor but also the good in our hearts that totally nails it. (A+)
This movie is like an ogre. It has layers. One of the best Dreamworks movies to date, easily. By layers, I mean different layers of complexity. By far the most prominent element was the humor. It was littered with jokes to appeal kids, and it will make adults shake their heads in disbelief at the nerve of the director to throw in an ass joke or two. Then, there's the plot and premise. The plot is actually really well developed, with some twists, suspense, and creativity. The premise of the fairy tales all existing in one universe is really cool as well. It all works together to create a really entertaining movie for all ages.
This movie is so gud cuz of the memes. It is extra crispy and shrek gave me some valuable life lessons. such as ogres being like onions, because they have layers. The characters are great and i especially enjoy the scene where shrek jumps into a onion-powered mech suit and punches a giant pepe while karate-chopping a t-rex into space. Great movie, 10/10.
Shrek made me understand why I'm human. It gave me the answers I have been searching for my entire life and I am now able to descend to the greater swamp.
