It's a mild crowd pleaser for people who are exhausted by blockbusters.

it is the rare 'crazy' movie that actually has something to say.

While it doesn't offer any answers, it both thrills and makes you think.

It's a good bad... and worth a popcorn matinée. While it's easy to lament what could have been...

If in the future you witness a murder remember you have options other than putting on a fat suit and pretending to be a member of the opposite gender. An FBI agent should know better, but here again he sinks to pretending to be an elderly woman rather than using his inside knowledge to keep clear of bad guys. An FBI agent should also know that his identity is secret and he isn't listed in the phone book - i.e. bad guys couldn't find his home if they wanted to.Therefore through a process of deduction even Blind Freddy can see the witnessed murder is just an excuse to revisit the overused "fat lady jokes", "sappy Big Momma moments" (e.g. "her" giving loving speeches to children and other's about how people aren't always what they appear and "valuing yourself"), love story (this time involving the son), girl finding out a guy dressed as a female and witnessed her in vulnerable moments (e.g. in underpants in a fitting room or in bed (in the case of the first film)) and heartfelt speech which wins the girl over in the end because the guy was just dressing as a girl for "the better good" and he really loves her even though he lied to her.

The premise of the film starts off well. When Big Momma's step-son witnesses a mob hit, the latter and Big Momma are forced into disguise and go to an all-girls school where the stolen information has been hidden.Naturally, both guys get involved in the inter-personal relationships that exist among the girls. Of course, there is a love interest for the step-son.The picture is diminished by the silly antics of the two in their situations.Even the bad guys do a dance at the end of the film as the credits are rolling. I found that to be amusing.Otherwise, the film is fun but inane most of the time.

If you have seen the first two Big Momma movies than this movies follows the same line as those two movies however I did find this movie better than the second sequel but not as good as first.The one thing I have liked about these movies is big momma wisdom when she gives advice about problems the kids are having and if you don't like this you will probably hate this movie. Her sayings are what i have enjoyed the most about these movies.Martin Lawrence is fantastic as big momma you can still see that he enjoys playing this part and Brandon T wasn't bad but you have to give credit for trying. His character wasn't as great but you could predict what is going to happen to him.This movie is great family movie you can watch with your kids as no swearing and there are few amusing moments. I hope this is the last sequel in this franchise as it is good way end it with his son going to college.The Movie is 100 minutes which is not bad for a comedy if you just take it on face value you will like this movie but if you looking for something with a bit substance you should avoid this movie.I myself only watched this movie because i was bored.

it's still got its funny moments. This time FBI agent, Malcolm, gets some help from his stepson, Trent. Trent follows Malcolm on a case and is witness to a murder. So, they need to go into hiding and to find some kind of computer drive. They know it is at an all girls school for the performing arts. So Malcolm becomes Big Momma and Trent is Charmaine. There is a really funny scene where the hot girl Trent likes, Haley, sings in the cafeteria, and everyone joins in and Big Momma gets her grove on and crashes a table. Then there is the security guard that has the hots for Big Momma. His scenes where funny, especially Twister. Then Big Momma becomes a nude model, did we really need to see that! FINAL VERDICT: If you liked the other sequels, you'll like this one.
