Truly Dreadful Film
A movie that not only functions as a solid scarefest but a razor-sharp satire.
It's a good bad... and worth a popcorn matinée. While it's easy to lament what could have been...
It is an exhilarating, distressing, funny and profound film, with one of the more memorable film scores in years,
It made me feel all sorts of warm happy feeling ... its a funny, warm, entertaining, heartwarm and also kind of deep story. I truly loved all the perfomances and vinde vaughn is so Well casted he is absolutely loveable in this moovie. Its a cute story og taking responsibility No matter the cost because it is the right thing to do
i really feel like connected with all the 533 children. the character emma played a very good role and all the children get together got me goosebumps, emotionally attached with this movie. the meaning for life would definitely knock you down a bit.. and on the other side chris pratt comical scenes are very fresh and i enjoyed it very much.. still thinking about the funny scenes he had with his children. that worked out really well. Vince Vaughn never disappointed me so far in any of his movies which i watched. he nailed it as usual. very fresh movie and it made my day too. final climax scene i expected everyone holds that new born kid. but thats okay director finished on his note and i really loved his direction. credits goes to him for a great movie like this. hope you do a lot of movie. and i expect this director to direct a comical family movie in future . love from India
Delivery Man (2013): Dir: Ken Scott / Cast: Vince Vaughn, Chris Pratt, Cobie Smulders, Andzej Blumenfeld, Simon Delaney: The title is about the most creative element of this film, and that is usually a bad sign. It regards the fact that David Wozniak is the delivery driver for a meat market company as well as address his secret identity called "Starbuck" where he donated sperm and has learned that he is the father of 533 sperm babies. Central plot regards the now grown children wish to meet him. Director Ken Scott made the Canadian version of this film called Starbuck and he wouldn't be the first director to do this. The plot had potential for broad comedy but instead becomes episodic with each child that Wozniak contacts. These children are unaware of who he is but he attempts to be as some sort of guardian angel where he tries to help them for the better. We know where this is headed and it never delivers on comedy. This is two misses in one year by Vince Vaughn. This is only slightly better than Internship, but that is not saying much. The only scene that garnered a laugh was Vaughn slipping on a diving board, which could be a reaction to the box office of Internship. Vaughn actually holds strong as a man attempting to restore order in his life and do these children good. Chris Pratt steals scenes as his lawyer. Cobie Smulders is cardboard as Vaughn's pregnant girlfriend in what is a dreary and predictable role. Other roles have about as much life as the meat being delivered. Strong theme of fatherhood and responsibility fails to deliver a quality comedy worthy of laughs. Score: 5 / 10
This movie is so unbelievable on so many levels. It's a scary thought thinking that there could be 533 mini David Wozniak's/Vince Vaughn's in this world. For such a pathetic loser he really does get some great opportunities in life. It's actually quite an insult, well you know if it was real. The first 20 minutes of this film was pretty painful but after a bit it starts to get better. It has more heart than it is funny. In fact some moments were gut wrenchingly sad. But for the most part I enjoyed this movie. As I continued to watch I began to come around to the movie and stopped overthinking the craziness of it all. It was nothing like I expected and so much deeper and emotional than I could have imagined. So no it's not a comedy but it's not a bad movie.
