The Return of Jafar
The evil Jafar escapes from the magic lamp as an all-powerful genie, ready to plot his revenge against Aladdin. From battling elusive villains atop winged horses, to dodging flames inside an exploding lava pit, it's up to Aladdin - with Princess Jasmine and the outrageously funny Genie by his side - to save the kingdom once and for all.

A Masterpiece!
It's hard to see any effort in the film. There's no comedy to speak of, no real drama and, worst of all.
The joyful confection is coated in a sparkly gloss, bright enough to gleam from the darkest, most cynical corners.
I think the writers of the script were a little bit in a rush and wrote the whole movie in 15 minutes. Make yourselves a favor, don't watch it .
Don't get me wrong, the amount of effort put in to this film is mostly impressive. Despite its watered down animation, and it's generic story, I'm sure that young kids would probably enjoy it. But this film is more of what should have just been a pilot episode for the animated show based off of Aladdin, instead of it being a stretched out, so-so animated, generically written film that would only impress those who don't really care about an actual great story and just want to see what the characters are up too, because that's pretty much how it is in this film. This film is in no way shape or form on par with the first film whatsoever. Now, this film isn't exactly that bad, but it's not good enough for me to recommend. It's recommended just to not worry about any sort of direct-to-DVD sequels, as those films, just like this one, are completely disinteresting and never have anywhere near enough magic to be anywhere near as good as the first films. Especially with this film, as it just should have been the pilot episode for the show based off the first film, as again, this film feels very stretched out and just not as memorable as it should be.
Disney's "Aladdin" was one of the most lively animated features ever thanks to Robin Williams's wacky performance as the genie. So it's no surprise that without Williams, the straight-to-video sequel is a far inferior quality. But even if Williams had participated, it wouldn't have helped much. The whole movie is an uninspired excuse to make money. Truth is, had Williams provided the voice, it probably would've hurt his career. The movie might entertain the tykes for its running time, but I doubt that anyone over the age of twelve will enjoy it. NOT WORTH YOUR TIME! On the subject of Agrabah, there was a poll a year or two ago. A large number of people said that they supported bombing Agrabah, not realizing that it's a fictional city.
I am very pleased with this movie. It takes daring turns and it has a charm. Not to mention a pretty cool and dramatic opening. Iago turning good was kinda hilarious, since he is so greedy. And Jafar as the more powerful red Genie was pretty awesome as well. Very well executed. Too bad it wasn't on cinema with a higher budget, though. But regardless, I love it. By the way; another reviewer here named Mary (can probably see her the first review that appears on this article) stated a false fact, embarrassingly enough. She said "It's actually one of my favorite sequels, and not to mention Disney's very FIRST sequel." ... ever heard of The Rescuers Down Under, you schmuck?!
