The Worst Film Ever

From my favorite movies..

Like the great film, it's made with a great deal of visible affection both in front of and behind the camera.

A great movie, one of the best of this year. There was a bit of confusion at one point in the plot, but nothing serious.

There wasn't a moment of suspense or horror in this movie. Sure, some knives, cars etc flew around and the scenes in the closet were ok, but I never believed the pain Carrie suffered or the way she transformed... this story has a lot of potential, really, but not this way!

Fake, want to be movie critics I've read said this was shot for shot. It wasn't... at all. When it comes to a lot of the same dialogue, it's adapted from the same book! The supernatural angle straight from her shower change is much more prominent. She's doing A LOT more 011 stuff. It's in no was as bad as the first posters lamented. Yes, it was dumb to try to remake a classic horror popcorn flick, but this is a nice update. I think it stands up. It's not great, but it's good. More relatable for kids, a fun comparison for those born in the same decade as the first.

Just watched this and couldn't watch it all - - appalling to say the least. The original was way way way better, and still can scare the wits out of you today. The movie people today do not know how to make a really scary movie, they get too caught up with sex and aesthetics and cheap affects and parlor tricks when we have better CGI today to make it great, but they overlook the acting abilities. These actors are horrid. The Lead - she's good but she's not great, and she's still bubble-gum actress and has some work to improve, but Sissy was way way better and more convincing along with her cast. You don't get drawn into the story, you don't get drawn into the characters, it's like someone watched Final Destination movies and took pages out of those movies -- horrible. The acting is B at best. The storyline is too quick, you don't get engaged, they made a popcorn bubble-gum joke movie in the end which ruined the Carrie Franchise.

A shy girl, outcasted by her peers and sheltered by her religious mother, unleashes telekinetic terror on her small town after being pushed too far at her senior prom. Carrie is the remake of the 1976 film with the same name and stars Chloë Grace Moretz, Julianne Moore, Gabriella Wilde, Ansel Elgort and Judy Greer. As with every movie this days Carrie is one of the many Horror Films or Films in general that got a reboot and when it finally got released it face mostly mixed to negative reviews and i kinda understand why because some people found the film maybe boring or just unnecessary and OK i get it but personally even tho i haven't seen the original yet but i do want to i found this remake to be very entertaining but also quite dramatic because Carrie as a person is no Freddy or Jason she just wants to be left alone and she gets bullied in School every day and in the Prom she basically lost it and let me start first with the good stuff which is Moretz and Moore i think both women did an excellent job and sometimes they were pretty scary especially Moore who played the mother really well done and then we have Gabriella Wilde as Sue who personally i found to be a very nice person and i liked the fact that she forgave Carrie even in the end and she continued to support her threw out everything, Greer also gave a pretty good performance as the teacher too. The CGI for the most part looked pretty well done and the scenes in the Prom and the one with the Car were pretty cool but that doesn't mean that there aren't some moments were the CGI is kinda off and even some of the rest of the supporting cast was either okay or just meh but overall i found Carrie to be one of the best Horror Remakes that we have got for quite some time now it had some pretty good actors in it and the performances alongside the entire story were very interesting. If you liked the movie too that's great if you didn't that's okay too. Personally even if i had seen the Original i would have still enjoyed the Remake because even with some flaws here and there i think it was a hell of a movie that tried to built it's characters first and then give you the Horror/R-Rated Stuff.
