The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.

This movie is not as bad as some of the reviews indicate. The acting is not great but not terrible either. The actors were believable. I kept yelling "Don't go into the woods at night Dumb Ass!" because I was really into the movie by then. Low budget but still well done. Entertaining and suspenseful. There is a little "Blair Witch" flavor to it.Good story. Great special effects.I had never heard of this movie so I didn't know what to expect from it. But I can tell you I wasn't disappointed.

I've only watched 13 minutes of the film so far and it's pretty bad. The acting isn't the worst I've seen but it isn't far from it. Just the basic idea of the film fails. He removes the camera from his phone to insert into a fake eye. Right there the tech side of the movie fails. Those cameras are hard wired, not wireless. Even if he somehow rigged it to solid state storage it wouldn't hold enough data for more than a couple hours. Add the fact that he's powering it with a watch battery... And on top of all of that, he epoxies the whole thing together guaranteeing that there is no way for him to replace the battery. And, oh yeah, let's stick an epoxy covered object into his eye socket. Oh and of course no one is going to notice that his eye occasionally glows red right? There's even more tech fail with this idea that I haven't mentioned but I'm tired of writing about it. It would have been better for the writer to have used some sort of internet order for a special mini camera. Have the character open a box which shows some sort of packaging boasting a new state of the art miniaturized wireless camera. Dude, if you read this review, don't try to use existing tech which obviously would not work. Make up some new futuristic tech.

Contains plot spoilers: Matt loses and eye and installs a camera in his eye because a house and land with cameras and everyone having a camera didn't cover enough. Three couples go to a cabin in the woods where there are Big Foot sightings, crop circles, and aliens. When a meteor lands nearby, Matt gathers it up and the fun begins. The film would have been fine had they not insisted on making this a found footage film with shaky cameras waiting until the end for us to see the alien. From what I understand from the premise of the film, baby aliens are somehow formed in space and tossed to the earth to remote areas of Canada where the parent lives. Needed more of an alien back story. No sex or nudity. I didn't catch any swear words.

I have seen almost everything out there so every time I stumble on a new title, I want to be excited. I only read the good review on this one and the very beginning was promising. The acting, and I am not an actor but, it was really bad for the most part. I liked the premise, and the ending was a little corny and predictable, but I liked it. If the acting was better, this could have been really good.
