While skeptical at first, i'm now officially telling all my friends (EDM lovers and others) about What We Started ! I love this film because it tells such a beautiful story and is so informative to all who watch it. Whether your a modern EDM fan, an OG fan, or not a fan at all, this film does a great job of paralleling and contrasting the old with the new, with an exceptional cast.

I'm a fan of the genre and have been for over 5 years. When watching this film, I learned a lot from the history pertaining to the early days of the genre, how the DJ's would perform in different settings, etc. I especially liked hearing the insight from the current artists topping the charts in this genre and from different generations. Overall, if you're not a EDN fan, you will be intrigued from this film, learn some history of this genre and have a better idea of why the fans of this genre are really passionate.

I bought this film on Steam last month. Never thought it would be this entertaining and informative. Can't wait to show it to my cousins who are into dance music more than me.SPOILERThe movie has exclusive footage of Martin Garrix & Ed Sheeran working in the studio on their track, 'Rewind Repeat It' which never saw the light of day.
