WWE This Tuesday In Texas
WWE Tuesday in Texas took place on December 3, 1991 at the Freeman Coliseum in San Antonio, Texas. Five professional wrestling matches were scheduled on the card. The main event was a rematch for the WWF Championship, which saw Hulk Hogan defeat the champion, The Undertaker, to regain the title. Hogan had lost the championship six days earlier at Survivor Series in a controversial finish. The featured bout on the undercard saw Randy Savage, in his first match since WrestleMania VII, defeat Jake Roberts. The event was an attempt by the WWF to establish Tuesday as a secondary pay-per-view night. Lukewarm reaction and a disappointing 1.0 buyrate rendered the experiment a failure, and the company shelved its plans until nearly thirteen years later, when it held Taboo Tuesday.

I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.

Brands like Raw and SmackDown get their own pay per views, but once ECW was released as a third brand we were awaiting the day it got it's own special event. In tradition to the December to Dismember 1995 original ECW event we get this horrible event that gives the new ECW and even the original ECW a bad name.Match 1: The Hardys vs MNM - This was the only match that was watchable on this lame event. The Hardys put on a fantastic performance against MNM. Both teams have a man from Raw and a man from SmackDown, which really makes it sad that Raw and SmackDown guys can out perform ECW talent on their own event. Johnny Nitro really shined over Joey Mercury in this match, possibly leaning more towards a huge singles push for him. In the end The Hardys take the win, predictable but a fantastic match.Match 2: Balls Mahoney vs Matt Striker - Striker can be a decent wrestler, but Balls on the other hand is more of a hardcore guy. His wrestling skills are terrible to say the least. Well we see Striker in the beginning make his own match rules and stating that this match will be held under 'Striker's Rules'. Well Striker the truth it that we would rather see 'Extreme Rules'. Balls in the end fights off all of Striker's rules to pick up the win in the end.Match 3: Sylvester Terkay & Elijah Burke vs The Full Blooded Italians - Nunzio and Tony Mamaluke just fell into this crap squash match. This could have really been their time to shine in the new ECW, but they get squashed pretty good by Terkay & Burke. Terkay for one isn't interesting, Burke on the other hand is a good wrestler. This match in particular was his worst. This had no excitement added to it at all. Burke and Terkay win. Tremendously lame match.Match 4: Daivari with The Great Khali vs Tommy Dreamer - Just like Balls Mahoney, Tommy Dreamer is a better hardcore wrestler instead of regular mat wrestler. Daivari is strangely dominating the whole time. Dreamer tries to fight back, but Daivari takes the cheating win with a hand full of tights roll up on Dreamer. After the match Khali slams Dreamer on the stage. Dreamer is an ECW Original, he shouldn't be getting owned by small guys like Daivari like this.Match 5: Kevin Thorn & Ariel vs Mike Knox & Kelly Kelly - The worst match of the night and possibly of 2006. These four have absolutely no wrestling ability. Knox and Thorn really stunk it up for most of the match with lame, botched maneuvers. Kelly Kelly and Ariel are hot, but they didn't do anything exciting when they took their turn in the ring. In the end Thorn & Ariel get the win. Thorn goes to attack Kelly, but surprisingly Sandman makes the save. The crowd goes wild for it, but honestly Sandman should have been in the main event replacing guys like Test or Hardcore Holly instead of doing this crap.Match 6: Big Show (c) vs Rob Van Dam vs Test vs CM Punk vs Bobby Lashley vs Hardcore Holly in the Extreme Elimination Chamber Match for the ECW Championship - Sadly this was a horrible main event. Entertaining guys like Rob Van Dam and CM Punk left way to early in my book and that really made the fans turn their head. Test is a crap wrestler and so is Hardcore Holly, who shouldn't even have been in this match. They shot a poor promo showing Sabu being taken out backstage. So basically Heyman awards Hardcore Holly with Sabu's spot. That was complete crap, Sabu would have ruled this match. Heyman told reporters that his vision was to see CM Punk with the title raised over his head in the end instead of Lashley, which I would have loved to see go down. Instead Lashley takes the win much to the displeasure of the ECW fans. Lashey never even earned this. The guy is a horrible wrestler and will sadly go on to have a 500 day run as ECW Champion, because that is Vince's vision. CM Punk would have been my candidate to take the gold, but Vince really thinks like a jack@$$ sometimes.Poor event, poor matches. All of it equaled to the worst pay per view of all time.

Truly trulet awful. This event was one of the worse WWE have ever put on. I just can't believe Vince McMahon let it happen...then again this is the man who gave us King of The Ring 1995 and the World Bodybuilding Federation. It was just terrible beyond belief. Living in England I got this for free on Sky Sports so I stayed up to watch it...how terrible a move it was for me. OK so after match one The Hardyz vs. MNM which was a poor effort from both teams (but turned out to be the best match of the night) expectations were not so high. I was hoping that the main event would be good as my favourite wrestler is Sabu. Oh hang on whats this.... Sabu is injured....and who's his replacement....Not So Hardcore Holly. I respect Holly. I think his comeback from a life threatening illness was very brave of him but that dosen't make him a good wrestler. OK next match. Matt Striker vs. Balls Mahoney in a Strikers Rules Match. Strikers Rules basically means crap. Mahoney won in a poor match. This was followed by 3 awful matchs Sylvester Terkay and Elijah Burke def. The F.B.I., Daivari def. Tommy Dreamer...awful the worst...then Kevin Thorn and Aerial def. Kelly Kelly and Mike Knox, all four fighters looked terrible. Paul Heyman came out and put on a brave face for the cameras but you could tell he was gobsmacked at how crap it was. Finally the Extreme Elimination Chamber which turned into the RVD Show. He was third eliminated and it just went downhill from there. Winner and new ECW Champ Bobby Lashley. Paul Heyman looked gutted and disgusted and it looked like he meant it and it just wasn't for kayfabe. Shocked and appalled at the new ECW Heyman walked out on WWE the next week. Good on Paul. ECW hopefully will be cancelled in the next month or so. It so bad...

What a stupid boring Pay Per View. The entire thing was 2 hrs and 18 mins! 40 dollars!? Are you INSANE!? Aside from the "extreme" (ly crappy) elimination chamber which for some odd reason was verrrryyyyyyyyyyyy short there were no hardcore matches at all. In fact, the entire PPV was like 5 one on one boring matches that felt like a huge count down to a short finale. They didn't even supply enough of those to make it atlest 2 1/2 hours. This PPV wasn't extreme. In fact, this PPV reminded me of side wrestling shows like "Sunday Night Heat" or "Velocity" or "Wcw Saturday Night or Worldwide" The biggest thing that made me angry was that Sabu wasn't in the final match, because of some stupid plot twist where he gets hurt backstage. So this means only 2 REAL Ecw stars are in the final event. RVD and CM Punk, the rest are stupid Raw and Smackdown characters who weren't popular or liked much. The entire thing felt so differently then Ecw and nowhere near the quality of One Night Stand. What happened that changed this? One Night Stand 2 was matter of months before this and yet this is so different, why? Watch the DVD and you'll see what I mean. The entire thing felt so dull and lifeless.

This P.P.V Was absolutely Atrocious and pretty much showed the entire world just how Vinny Mc's vision of ECW is more twisted than a Kaledoscope. The opening Bout for the night was the highlight of the show and actually showed some promise. The newly re-united MNM - which actually has some roots in ECW (As Joey Mercury was part of a tag combo with Christian York during the Company's dying days) and The Hardy Boyz, who have recently been on a roll in the Tag Team division (A Move I'm completely Against as Jeff and Matt should remain as Singles competitors) A Solid Match but it lasted Far to long than any of the crowd were interested in. Some good Spots but nothing more than Mediocre. The Second match showed just how quickly and ill promoted the Card for the show was as it featured Matt Striker Vs Balls Mahoney - DUD , One of the worst bouts I've seen in a long time Kelly Kelly & Mike Knox Vs Ariel and Kevin Thorn - DUD - It became clear that Kelly can wrestle for S*** shes nothing more but (very good) eye candy Kellys breasts made this match good. Im still not big on Kevin thorn or Mike KnoxTommy Dreamer and Daviari in a Typrically WWE Match which Daviri wins but a pull of the tights school boy roll up - AWFUL Finally the last match came but earlier in the night Sabu had been taken out - this is the same man that ripped his arm open in a barbed wire match and taped his arm back together to continue the match, So ECW Fans who had paid there good money to watch the main event (which other than the Hardyz/MNM Match was the only match announced) were suddenly screwed out of a vital part of the main event. The replacement............ BOB Holly Not the SANDMAN, a man who is an ICON in ECW But bob holly...........A Man everyone got bored of about 7 years ago The Main event was particually bad which showed the WWE Bias booking as the only Two Real draws than anyone cared about were obliterated in under 15 Min's. C.M Punk - the hottest and arguably most talented on the Roster ATM and R.V.D - The only other ECW Original in the match gone. Test was my favourite to win this one but Bobby Lashley (who is impressive) won the ECW Championship......This man joined 2 weeks ago and is already the freaking champion Basically this PPV WAS AWFUL AWFUL And very reminiscent of WCW in its dying days when matches were thrown together to the delight of no one and usually with absolutely no Promotion. ECW Is definitely losing its way and Vince McMahon is literally crapping all over the ECW Legacy AVOID
