On June 3rd GCW: Tournament of Survival 8 is live and exclusively on FITE+ straight from The ShowBoat in Atlantic City, NJ. The 12 entrants in the ToS are: El Desperado, Rina Yamashita, Tomoya Hirata, Toru Sugiura, Joey Janela, Sawyer Wreck, Kasey Kirk, JWM, Ciclope, Matt Tremont, Miedo Extremo and Green Phantom. They are ready for their death matches and are determined to survive and win the Tournament! This year the winner in the Tournament of Survival will have opportunity for a GCW World Championship shot on the following night in the Cage of Survival 2 where will face off Masha Slamovich. Surprisingly incoherent and boring
In truth, there is barely enough story here to make a film.
Funny, strange, confrontational and subversive, this is one of the most interesting experiences you'll have at the cinema this year.
This movie tries so hard to be funny, yet it falls flat every time. Just another example of recycled ideas repackaged with women in an attempt to appeal to a certain audience.
