Lack of good storyline.
Just perfect...
Absolutely the worst movie.
The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.
We are all hoping for a sequel to Walker Texas Ranger. I've watched this show since I was 8 years old. It's the best show ever!! This series has always shown high standards of friendship, loyalty and dedication. It has a strong message of right and wrong. Alex has always been & always will be my favorite character. We need to know what happen to Alex!! It would be so unfair to the show and all the fans to leave it with a cliffhanger like that. We all need some closure and we need a proper ending even more! Bring Walker back for at least a sequel to TBF!!!Let's all sign this petition to CBS: http://www.petitiononline.com/petitions/wtr2006/signatures?page=1 and spread the word about it!!!! Let's bring back Walker!!!
I've recently joined the ranks of Walker Texas Ranger fans by watching reruns and purchasing the DVD sets. I was excited about this movie. Some things were left unanswered. For example: Gage and Sydney's flirting. Did they get together or not? I'm guessing not since she wasn't in the movie which was disappointing. Trivette was another bummer. What did he have like 5 minutes? I thought he'd at least show up for the ending. There was no mention of CD or Sydney. And since when do Rangers do CSI work? Why did Walker sell the ranch? Also with the ending, if Gibbs was wanted for bank robbery why wasn't his picture in the papers or TV? And how did he get a gun in the courthouse? And the biggest disappointment was the very end. Alex's death. She hits the floor and the credits. There needs to be another movie and not in 5 more years. The storyline was good. It had its one liners. But it was just missing little things that would've made it a lot better. Like Trivette and Sydney and a little more action.
I have always love walker, Texas ranger. It is a great family show about serious events. I thought the movie was excellent. I hope there is more to come. I love the fight scenes, they were awesome. The story line was exactly what to expect from Chuck Norris, excitement, controversy, suspense, drama, with a little comedy to lighten to load. Edge of your seat all the way! I don't want to give anything away. Chuck Norris must make another, the ending is killing me. Please Please let there be a sequel or comeback series airing soon. I can watch any episode or movie over and over. The show is that good. I may know what is going to happen but the show still manages to wrap you up in the suspense.
As far as this movie goes, it was cheesy, and had a lot of action, but would it be a Chuck Norris movie if it wasn't either of the previous. For the guy who wrote his comment on this movie about having no better than an B-grade actor in this movie, you have to consider the time these guys put into Walker during their acting time. Walker lasted for 203 episodes, which for any TV show these days, 100 is a lot. Another note on the actors, a few of them have good credentials, such as Clearance Gilyard (Trivette) was also in Die Hard, one of the greatest movies of all time. Also the actress that play Alex Cahill was one of the other longest lasting TV shows known as Dallas. She came on the set in the final several seasons. I will admit this movie had its downfalls, the ending, and the way Walker threw that guy into the tree limb (Very Awesome by the way). Also the way that Mr. Norris got beaten up pretty bad, but you have to remember that he is pushing the age of 66. They also just can't show him beating up everyone in his path, he hast to get knocked down a few pegs. Also, the reason he has to shoot that crazy Korean dude is because he was throwing knives at Walker from 5 feet away, giving Walker more than enough reason to shoot him. The crazy Asian guy throwing knives symbolizes that he gave up on trying to fight Cordell Walker.
